Ultimate Sativa Thread???

ah right right the stretch. it sure seems like an absolutely stellar plant. perhaps it would be in order to self it, just to see what the offspring are like to see if it's a hybrid or not. it does look to have qualities of an Indian sativa... maybe made it's way to afghanistan? even so, whatever acclimatized there to end up as that plant is pretty amazing, those are some densely thick lookin nugs, and of sativa headsmoke, i say again, what a find :)

ps. i doubt there'll be such wrongful heated debate an instead insightful discussion... as this is no OG ;)

the AG cuts were RM's own cuts. he had put them out when he had that clone swappin club going on briefly.

sats do that though. if your scared of a few nanners you've no business growing ancient strains.

the WN put out a few nanners, but not too many. and you gotta figure that is a SE asian which are famous for nanners.

the WN was delicious by the way. very soft smoke and smells very much like milk chocolate or peanut butter or something. I'm pretty sure chocolate thai was just slang for a variety of se asians that produced that smell. the VB he uses in WN could sure pass as a chocolate thai

I don't know if I would say the stretch is the only thing, but definately a part. It definately has that sativa high you are talking about.

Unfortunately, I've only sampled a very small amount that was old, and the bottom of the bag stuff. Altho it was by far no where near an ideal sample the high was simly enlightening, truly anti depresent and uplifting high.

It was the most unique high I've ever had, like nothing else. It was extremely long lasting, and powerful, yet no paranoia. Good taste and smell, need a better sample to get a better read.

it sure seems like an absolutely stellar plant. perhaps it would be in order to self it, just to see what the offspring are like to see if it's a hybrid or not.

;)

Krush x Deep Chunk will also be started (pollinated) within a couple weeks, for Deep Krush. Then I will do the same but with Afghan Dream (supposed IBL from BCBD) to compare the results, and also to compare the 2 Affy indicas.

it does look to have qualities of an Indian sativa... maybe made it's way to afghanistan?

You are not the 1st person with knowledge of Indian Sativa's to make this observation, so I'm sure there's something to it.

even so, whatever acclimatized there to end up as that plant is pretty amazing, those are some densely thick lookin nugs, and of sativa headsmoke, i say again, what a find :)

I'm the same way, not too sure, I do believe this person 100%, but doesn't mean they haven't been passed some faulty info. All I care about is the quality of the smoke, and that's the one thing she excells in.

closet funk im curious do you have a grow thread going for you blue streak's?
if you do please direct me to it. good luck

I don't have a camera so I think it's kind of pointless to have a thread. I like to have pics with my info. If I had a camera I would definetly have one for sure.

The hermie AG cuts you probally saw were probally Odin Hammer (AG x Kodiak Gold), I heard they hermied alot. I want to get WN sooner or later, as a matter of fact LP#1 and Willie Nelson is on my Sativa list for sure.

the AG cut that the peep above is talkin about, is Reefs mother cut from the PIF program. we ran it twice here and both times it hermied like a jungle sativa, under 400s and a boomer.

i wouldnt recommend anything that has that bitch in it. may grow fine outdoors, but it wasnt a indoor plant. we tossed it both times it hermied, never made it to finish or to a pipe.

@ King Ralph, No landraces unless you count RM Burmese Pure but, IMHO many of my 100% sativa crosses will kick the crap out of most pure landraces. I breed for sativa high and sativa phenos not fat mixes like some may do. Take a look at my leaves and tell me that they are not very sativa based genetics. Not a one off cross but breeding for the best high. So KR i take some offence to
(yay hybrids? any landraces MOD? or ya work for arjan? lol just foolin... nice sativas ya got there, but it's like the difference between a nice juicy chicken breast an a processed chicken nugget. just somethin about those unadulterated landraces...
There is a thread for pure landraces and this is not it, that's why i posted here.
Next year 420 be there and you make the call.
Peace

I think he was just foolin MOD. dont take it too personal. you know how jokes or sarcasam can come off wrong in text.

you said your growing the burmese pure? Your going to love it in crosses. GREAT breeding material, unfortunately the smoke itself suffers inbreeding depression. nothing wrong with it but its unfufilling (sp?). but the genetic potential, as well as the taste, smell and yield are AAA.

yeah "just foolin" there as i said MOD, c'mon it's a chicken nuggets analogy... easy does it man, was just hopin a fellow sativa lover like yourself might have seeked out a unique landrace sativa too, ya might be pleasantly surprised by an extra facet to the high ;)

don't get me wrong, the more breeders and releasers of pure sativas the better for everyone... just always hopin something new and unique is offered into the mix. i've always heard great things about the pre-2000 kali mist, it's one i've wanted to try for a few years now but haven't been able to find in pure form, so it's good ta see ya using it in such a way that keeps her sativa qualities shining.

i sure plan on making the 420 next year, so hopefully we can share a thing or two with each other about what these sativas can do to the head then :) keep it up man, peace n green thumbs.

@ KR Sorry i took it wrong but i work to keep my sativa strains pure. Although a sat x indi mix can be nice and killer for the head. Peace
@ Motaco, the burmese pure is not as vigorous as a mix but so far they are strong in the flower cycle and i look forward to using it on some of my sativas as the buzz is quite sativa and almost stressfull. I like it. The colors are nice too.
I'll be back
MOD
Again Pardon me.
