gumzgi Beautiful! What strain is that? Looking for some earlys that will finish in northern Sweden... grew some Early wonder skunk this year that I think is an early. That one was the biggest of all my plants this season. Gonna chop down a last one tonight or tomorrow that I havent checked for three weeks. Hopefully she’s fat and Ready by now. aika kehno kausi olisi ollut earlyille siltä tuntuu. syyskuu ollut todella kylmä eikä aurinkokaan ole erityisen paljoa paistanut. pari hidasta "autoa" vielä pystyssä mutta ei ole paljoa tapahtunut muutamaan viikkoon eli tuskin tuottaa mitään nuo. siementä tuli ennätysmäärät määrällisesti ja lajikkeellisesti että sopii olla tyytyväinen kauteen.
pehkuthypoonitkin sain kerättyä talteen ja about 80 siementä millä lähdin niin niistä lopulta pääsi kaksi mutsia "A" kategoriaan. ehkä niistä jos kasvattelis emoja ensi kesänä ja pölyttelisi jollain vähän nopeammalla. vielä on kuitenkin siemenrenssiä ja budderin tekoa tiedossa täll syksylle.

Komeita puskia ollu porukalla... Oma kausi pantiin tosiaan pakettiin jo elokuun puolivälissä, ei kausi mennyt ihan sukseen, siemen penkki revittiin maasta, ja isoihin penkkeihin jäi pari urosta piiloon. Joten siemeniä on ihan vitusti xD ja niitä on annettu eteenpäin pitkin poikin etelä Suomea.
No siemennyksistä johtuen on voita tuli tehtyä niin paljon että sillä pelkästään selviää ensi syksyyn. Nyt tarvii ruveta suunnitteleen ensi kesää

Onko muilla linnut oppineet syömään siiduja plantuista?
Meikällä on iso autosiemen-spotti, jossa on nyt pari vuotta putkeen pikkulinnut käyneet verottamassa
Ei sinänsä haittaa kun sieltä tuli omiin tarpeisiin tarpeeksi.. Hmm, suomea tuo on vissiin, no eniweis, tuppaavat syömään näkösällä olevat siidut ja riisikepisiidut ennen kun menevät läskimpiin pudeihin. Luonto briidaa fättiä pudia vai meikän linnut on fiksumpia kun teidän?

Never had bird damage in the Auto plots, but on the Early plot this year I could see that some bird had been dropping down some seeds on the ground. > Got still plenty of left though. Was only one plant on a plot with many.

I remember me and Pena found like a nest of a one of those little bastards that's kinda like a mouse but not really on one big early one year. Guy made like a bed there and there was poop in a bud that was decent size. I mean could be small birds yea, but maybe not.
I saw the damn thigs while I sat down near the spot and was quiet for a while. Wee birds came in mang, kinda plugged the seeds and I think they swallowed em whole or after cracking em up with their little beaks.
Those rodent guys, they usually only eat what's inside the seed.
I observe animals, mang. I'm cool like that on a friday night.

joo mulla kanssa syöty siemeniä joskus ja kyselin suomifoorumilla niin linnut tosiaan tuota harrastaa en nyt muista mikä laji mutta jokin pienikokoinen se oli. kaikkee sitä onki!

Anyone drying with the paper bag method? Tried it last year on one last plant but couldnt check ’em daily due to a trip and it got too dry when out of town for a few days. Everything this year is now cut and dried even if two plants still feels a bit too wet for jaring. Will it be able to dry if burping daily or should I put them into bags instead for a day or two?

Lambs Bread you dry the wed till your outside skin its kinda crispi but the stems look still gren and its bendin , now you take the buds and place em in paper bag , fold it , and let it sit for like 1,5 2 weeks . it should never goes to dry , even after dat 2 weeks the buds you will see you will need a scrissor , you cant crumble the bud with the hands, it sticks to everything . try to keep that paper bags with the buds inside somewhere with a temperature like 16/ 18C

Viime vuonna jo kattelin että kummaa jälkeä plantuissa. Mut en jaksanu välittää kun oli myöhänen syksy ja suurin osa siiduista ei ehtinyt kypsäksi asti. Tänä vuonna nappasin parhaat ajoissa veke ja jätin huonommat sinne. Pieniä olivat tosiaan, ja koitin lintukirjasta kattoa ja googlaa, mut en tiiä kun en oo mikään Ilkka Koivisto.
Eikä tuo niin haittaa, syököön mitä jälelle jää. Aika kova se on laiffi niin pienille linnuille varmaan talviaikaan, niin saavat kunnolla valkuaista ja läskiä. Se lämmittää mukavasti talvella
No ainakin uskon niin.
