Meepo!!!!!! :)

WTF are you complaining about??? :D

All looking more than fine mate ;)

Goes allright Piel, provided you will flush them tomorrow with clean water immediatly! (and if they haven't been to wet and too well nourished already before you fed them.)

What plants tend to do after having been deprived from water and nutrients for a while is to buffer all they can when suddenly exposed to it.
So in that case they actually like it and you'll see a sudden boost in bud growth.
Directly after this boost you will have to give them clean water immediatly because all the selt build up at roots level will obstruct your roots from functionning when not dilluted, hence, causing your roots to "dry up" or burn. (end of plant)

In case they have been too wet already before the initial "over feeding", they'll become forced to be with their roots for too long time in over fertilized soil, and since you can't flush it now shortly afterwards... your roots will start to rot.
(Causing your plants to wilt and making you prematurely having to harvest.)

If the soil wasn't too wet previously but suficiently nourished anyhows, your plants will not be able to buffer it since the plant was saturated already. worst case scenario here is that your leaf tips will burn.

oth: Looks like the ladies are perking up! They´ve been wet for awhile now, they haven´t had a lot of nutrients this summer, mostly I´ve been topdressing with fresh soil. Next year I´ll have the bigger strains in they´re own bed and only AF´s in tubs.

Tässä keikistelee auto ak47xEWS neitonen syyskuosissaan. Kuvia tulossa enemmän, kunhan saan vaan 50 postin rajapyykin rikki.

Homehtuuko purkissa?

Mitenhan jaksavat kukkia kun joistakin täytyi katkaista pääpamppua pätkä pois?

Got the weight result of the Diesel ryder plot, and now when it's dried I would like to share the result of the one biggest lady with y'all.
Less then was estimated for tho, but I'm happy about it anyways.

40 gr seeds (about +90% of them mature,so about 2500 pcs) and 20 gr kief of point fuckingly trimmed bud. *one ripe DR seed wheighs on average 0.015 gr.

When grown as a sensi that would have equaled something like 60 gr, so for a 65 degree Northern lattitude attempt with a couple of packs of seeds ordered straight from the doc I'm rather pleased about it.
She was germinated the 13th of may and harvested at the 17th of august during the first heavy night frost with only minimal mould damage.

From previous breeding selection experiences I know that out of her offspring there will apear even much bigger ones next time.
When 'll be growing up a new bunch of plants out of her seeds I will have the luxury to be able to select from several hundreds of seeds, ensuring me to find at least some (more) mould resistend ones from her size or possibly even bigger.

Not sure if I would give priority to size though, I think I'll be selecting for mould resistence exclusively as the #1 factor to select for, but can be things will go hand in hand that way.
Usually the bigger plant is the healthiest plant and thus most resistend to mould, but there must be a limit to what size bud will still be healthy enough to withstand mould.
I mean: verry big and dense buds are usually more prone to bud rot since the moist can't go anywhere, so for Finnish unpredictable summer rain time tables It might be better to go for an intermediar in size that' s still healthy enough to grow big, but not so big and dense that she's likely to attract mould.

I got still some lowryder#2x Indica dominating plants left in the field but they are only ment to blow myself out of this world, get to rest and fall asleep.

This Diesel Ryder is a much more social one and definatly one of the finest weed that I had ever got to smoke. (+24 years of smoking experience by now so that's supposed to be an understatement of it's quallity.) Also the Bud to leaf ratio gets a 10 from me, and for a sea of green it's one of the bests since there was basicly only one mainbud on a spot where I expected her to branch out more.(southern front row.)

I don't like to breed with too many strains all at once, and now when I've smoked this, I think I 'd better stick to the "winning team" and try to improve on it as it is, rather than to out cross her with secundary strains.
Maybe some outcrosess only with the lowryder/Indica and Iranian Short Season on a spot far away from the mainplot but that'd be it and only for sake of child play and hopes for surprises. We, ll see :)

Viimeisessä kuvassa on ns. "orb" , joita hihut pitävät henkiolentoina. Huomaatte budin oikealla puolella.

Hieno risteytys näyttäisi olevan tuo pehkuruder x typhoon

Oma ensimmäinen ulkokasvatuskausi ei pahemmin tulosta tule tuottamaan. Typhoonilla on menty. Suurin osa jäänyt vähän haiguleiksi huonojen paikkavalintojen vuoksi. Pari vähän nätimpää kasvia löytyy.

Paljon on opittu ja ensi vuonna lähetään hakemaan kunnon satoa :p
