Mould free outdoor 17th Nov

Mould free outdoor 17th Nov

A couple of pics of zeds AAH ak/haze x still outside , plenty of rain , 5 frosts now including frost after rain & then last night frost during fog . Minimal bad bud . The ones i grew a few year ago were the same , seem to shed the water no problem , it`s just a shame that as soon as you get them auto they mould up easy .
Cloudy triches that don`t seem to be progressing any further , & i was hoping the seed would all be ready by now . I`ll decide within the next few days if i`m gonna do a Pink Floyd on them (The Final Cut )

Just poppin in to say hello, I still come on regularly to check up on tings but just don't post.
Thought you all might like this though- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nnabis-farm--2m-worth-weed.html#ixzz156lZtUIi

Its a growers dream! seems like someone couldn't keep their mouth shut though...what was the first rule of groing again? I see the guys also got the Vietnamese in to take the wrap. Oh ye and 'Ultraviolet lights each costing £180' for a start they're HPS and secondly those lights are £80 each, if that.

Anyway, was thinking about next years grow over my lunch today and was getting well excited, especially after having a bit of a flop this year. This year will be the first season I get to keep mothers over winter so come spring I'm sure I'll have plenty of cuts, maybe even some spare ;). I've got minime's akXww and I'm going to get a load of Purple Marocs (if you havn't already do a bit of research into the strain), both of which will be my strains for next year, oh and maybe sneak a few autos in too.

Terrible pic but here's the akxww just started to reveg- luckily a friend returned a clone that had just started to flower.

Hope everyone is well,

Peace out

edit- hahaha just saw marco's post, I see the decent MD thats been going around has reached you as well?

Oh ye, forgot to ask, does anyone know where I can get a decent timer from, it must be able to take a 650w load easily.

My timer that I've used for many grows broke last week, I've since been through 3 different timers all of which work for 2 or 3 days then brake.

I have changed house recently though, could the problem be more to do with the wiring of the house or something? Light bulbs (normal house ones) also seem to be blowing quite easily, not sure if the problem is related though?

Hey Soul my man :dance013:

Do you use a contactor relay? It takes the load off the timer and i've always used one and still have my old timers from argos!

Something like this would work: http://www.greenshorticulture.co.uk...axiswitch-2-Way-Light-Controller-10A--888.asp

Hey MJB how's everything coming along?

Hopefully everyone has their feet up enjoying a smoke! Gonna be mega cold this week with some snow forcast!! Hope this Winter isn't as bad as the last one...

Peace all :)

The Final Cut

Not bad at all  The last 2 plants were cut & hung today , F1 still looked practically untouched by all the weather we`ve had since Aug , the F2 leaves started drooping badly around the tips (too many frosts) all the seeds are fully ripe & it`s all been hung in a net curtain sack .
The beautiful heavy satived budder in the g-house come down a few days ago , started to get bud-rot on the tips . A beautifull strong floral/light spice smell to her & getting stronger as it dries :dance013::dance013:
All the other plants are drying beautifully & a lovely pile of Bubble with around the same amount of trim to do .
I also have seeds of an EarlyGold/MightyMite x GuerillaGold auto that i bred a few from . Best season since 06 :jump:

Been 100% deer safe this year with the Irish Sring soap , been 100% ripper free coz of my alarms :asskick::spank::bashhead:, got all the plants in safe & sound so yes it`s been a very good season :)

Rsole flapped a few week ago , had a copper chopper flying around very low , i did`nt really think much about it as we often get them following traffic on the main arteries but there usually higher so they can see most of the roads . This bugger was real low & very very close . I`m out in the garden watching it when it flew about 80/100ft high & about the same distance out , it came from my right to left & i could quite clearly see the geezer in the lt seat looking at me  it was only then i remembered the only 2 plants out in the garden against the back wall of the house , big 6ft+ bright green against light wall , stand out like a pork chop at a synagouge .
& to top it all on the back corner of house i`d run a length of 2x2 across from a plant pole to a brace a few ft off the ground to hang & drain the bubblebags on . Got a bucket on the ground flourecent orange catching sac hanging right down it with a red one hanging on the beam over the bucket , bloody bright beacon . It`s the most visable colour from the air thats one of the reasons all crane banksmen wear it . All this was in clear view of the fella looking at me .

Well i made it this year so far , dry & cure to go . :plant grow::greenstars::whee::smoke::canabis::party:

Stay green & safe all .

Thanks TPS, I don't currently use one, just ordered one though!

Found this pretty interesting site that has an interactive OS map of the whole country, its' incredibly detailed. I just check out one of the plots I grow at and there were things listed on the maps that I didn't even know were 100 yard away. It's no google earth but I thought it was a nice addition of information for checking out new plots.

UK Outdoor Strain Guide .

UK Outdoor Strain Guide .

That`s a hard one to answer Tonto , trouble is for such a small island both the UK & Ireland there are a lot of different climatic conditions . What may finish south is gonna be a bit different to north or west . Even some of the Danish strains have a drier summer than Scotland , Cumbria has 360 days of rain a year , Geordie land has 9 months winter
If the next poster with a strain that has finished for them cut & pastes strains then adds theirs we may get an idea of where we are going . Add any info such as breeder , finish date , mould etc & Lat if your not too worried or just Mid UK , South , Wales , Yorkshire or whatever . :thank you:

51*
zedheads AAH AKautoHaze F1 , 2nd -3rd week of Nov , rain resistant , minimal mould .
Zeds AAH F2 , 10% mould , 2nd wk nov , did`nt like too many frosts .
Serious Seeds Chronic , up to 3rd week oct , some had less mould than others , i had an Indica pheno that finished end sept (good summer & autumn)
Thyphoon & Fresian Dew , rated Ireland & Scotland (hav`nt grown these myself yet) .

Well it`s been a real nice day , had an old mate round , a shit hot guerilla grower & we smelt a bit of bud . Cause my sense of smell is a bit shot i could`nt tell apart from floral/light spice what the smell was that i was getting from all my AAH bud . At the same moment as he smelt it the missus came out the office & they both said at the same time LEMON , looks like i got the lemon haze pheno in all the AAH , lucky i got seed from them all .
Wheres this UK Outdoor strain list ???

Happily hazed & bubbled !!!!!!!!

How about some samples MJB?? :dance013:

A strain guide IMO would be difficult as not many of us here are growing strains that are available in the shops so to speak...

The last shop bought strain i did was Mandala#1 ans i didn't think to much of it... For me and my garden i feel Autos are the way to go if you have a raised bed. Sow in May and harvest in August...Job done! :smoker:

I also wanted to wish everyone here a good Xmas and i'll start another Thread in 2011....doesn't time fly!!!

Peace all, TPS :)

Fair enough but what about ANY plants that have been successfully grown in our climate ?
Nearly if not all of my seed strains are from growers themselves that have developed or bred finishers/potential finishers . Surely there are more than the 5 strains i have listed , what about the growers that have finished some of the Danish or HFH ?

Lets forget autos in the lists though .

Why the FCUK are you not all growing Canadian strains and Autos ? MJ is on the right track with the Danish stuff, Erdbeer too.

The Canadian climate is worse than Scotland, yet they finish good bud and have done for decades. UK growers seem to take indoor very seriously, but can hardly be bothered with the outside. My experiences here in Spain have shown me the [big, free] light... if/when I get back to the UK I will fire up indoors again, but there will be plenty of outdoor action.

I may well run some of the Canadian strains here, just because they are so early and reliable, Hunters, Rippers and Mushroom hunters are all causing problems in September/October and it would be nice to get some bud in before the wars start....

The Grassomatic MaxiGoma Auto is giving over 100g of pukka bud per plant, hell, Diesel Ryder 2 years ago was way better than 99% of UK Bud, they would be brilliant outdoors in the UK during Summer.

Best of luck all for 2011 outside, Reeferman's C-Warp looks very good for you guys BTW...

Going down the Canadian strain road next year.

Tomorrow I'll be ordering Guerilla Gold#3 & Guerilla Gold x Blubonic plus something else when I make my mind up.

I've asked around on the Canadian forum and the above have been recommended, all finishing by the end of September.
