The goldfinger I did was very nice, very unusual and exotic, had all kinds of complex, rich, earthy, berry, plummy, jammy, rich delicious notes.

Not the biggest yielder and 12weeks but truly exotic and top notch smoke.

That was just the pheno I had, more variation to explore there for sure.

If you need yield, nothing I've seen beats the Oaxacan for size, that Oaxacan x Goldfinger cross is long overdue!

Their Indian Haze is well worth a try too, it's Keralan South Indian Sativa x Haze, how more exotic and unusual do you want? You know some good shit lurks there as Sam didn't fool with anything but killer genes, those seeds stem from selections made from tens of thousands of plants in the 80s in Holland so are well worth popping and seedsman sell em dead cheap.

If you wanna go landrace, there is Real Seed Co, they have some pure sats and the prices are reasonable for such rarities and you know 100% they are pure sats and contain zero commercial genes.

Also worth a look is ACE seeds, they have loads of exotic quality sats, been fancying trying some of their stuff like the Panama and Congo for a long time but never got round to it.

Have a look to see if you can find and remaining packs of female seeds x-line zamal crosses, there should be stock of zamal x grapefruit left, that zamal mother x anything always produces something special.

Intersting stuff there indifferent, and some nice pix....

I had wondered about the Kerala X, now I think you have convinced me ! ... I had wondered about the quality and breeding, but if it is Sams labours there will be no worries.....

I know what you mean about the RSCo stuff, looks good, but from what I understand, the ACE lines are a better bet as they have been worked, by experts, BeAn's Congo looks truly fab and the ACE Panama gets brilliant reports

I ran a Zamal Skunk from FMS at a friends this year, nice, but not stellar, a cure should have helped though, so will revisit her for an Xmas smoke.

Further to my already rampant Strain Whoring, I also "acidentally" managed to get my mitts on x18 last night, I asked my buddy in the shop to get me Res Priv's OG Kush#18 but ended up with a pack of the OG Kush and a pack of the X18 instead... Feminised as well, just to really upset the purists....

I'm interested in the French seedbank Tiki Seeds, they have some very interesting looking strains, not least due to the huge yields I have seen some people getting.Their Bambaataa looks very interesting, the plants I saw had huge colas, it;s supposed to be South African genes.

P.S. Anyone wanna bet DNA's OG18 is OG Kush x X18? lol

Thanks to the yanks the names are now interchangable, a paki is from pakistan, an affy from afganistan(uzbek/tajiki weed is also grown for hash since the rusky's came)the kushes come from the mountains and are a mishmash between genes throughout valleys...they are not the same, of the same genes way back when, but today not the same...There is 3 paki's available at the moment, Chitral from ACE, PTK et XVIII from tom, also uzbekistan from CBG..grow um all out next to deep chunk n see how much water the lanky pakis n uzbeks drink, n the deep chunks n smaller PTK/X18/Uzbek/chitral types will drink less. You'll need several packs of each, so start saving....this will be an insight into the kush region and surrounding areas/countrys/states genetics...

i picked up a pack of seedsman's haze from the hemp expo - like 13 quid or something - should have bought 2.

i crossed my Black Forrest sativa - which looks like a pretty heavy yielder - to powerplant and UK cheese - got 4 seedlings of each growing now to test the water.

is flowering time always around halfway inbetween the two parents or can it lean heavily to one side??

you'l probly get a mixed bag with your seedlings V and have to do a bit of selection as some may take longer than the parents!!

You will need two, those are old seeds, I got two out of a pack to germ, both were female, I lost em sadly before getting to finish em, one was Thai-like, the other looked more Colombian, the Thai one smelled sweet, the other more spicy. Seedsman sent me a replacement pack though and not got to run em yet, I want a nice Haze male to cross to some indicas. I have Tom Hill's Haze too but got my hands full on the sativa front right now with Africans, Mexicans and Jamaicans.

Me too rick and I hoped it was a male, but sadly twas a female and due to life I lost em both anyways.

Kentish Creme S1 with stupid amounts of resin for early flower. She has very small buds though. I think she is at 36 days since going into 12/12, and going by how long her mother takes (75-80 days) she isn't even halfway yet. I doubt she is gonna yield well but she has triches on her fan leaves (look at the lower right in first pic), purple tips to the calyxes, purple undersides to the leaves and looks like she will be rather exotic and lovely, fingers crossed.

If she has this amount of resin after 36 days, how much is she gonna have after 75 or 80? Can't wait to see for myself!

Well, I didn't find her but I've been enjoying her from the early days and been a devoted admirer of her ever since I clapped eyes on her and tasted her for the first time.

Just goes to show, you can find things of the best quality from seed, people forget that these days in a world obsessed with elite clone only names.

Gotta say, I prefer the Kentish to either Bubba or OG, not that I don't like Bubba and OG, I do like em a lot, but the Kentish is possibly more potent and I prefer the taste. Doesn't mean it's better than the kush pair, just that it fits my tastes better.

I've got two of these KC S1s left, I think I might be able to find a good home for them, looking forward to seeing more people grow this strain as I think they will love it as much as I do. I'll pass on a couple of Bubba S1s too so they can have a comparison.

It's not a great plant to grow though, stretches a lot, doesn't branch, you have to really make it branch and yield is not that good, but Elevator Man appears to be well ahead with a project to improve those aspects and keep the Kentish's deirable aspects. Big props to him for that, if ever I saw a plant that was worthy breeding material it is the Kentish.
