As far as I know UK CHEESE was selected from Skunk#1 seeds I made. They were bought from Neville, taken to the UK and CHEESE was a clone selected from the grow.

No one bred a CHEESE, it was selected from a Skunk #1 grow.

I got this from the guy who bought the seeds, took them to the UK, named it CHEESE, and the rest is history.

Also I can guarantee CHEESE is a pure Skunk #1, the first time I smelled the UK CHEESE clone I said it was pure Skunk #1, I met the grower later and he confirmed it to me.

I went to my first Harvest Festival in California in the early 70's, and I won it with Skunk #1.

Well you are wrong. It was first grown outdoors in a back garden in the Chiltern Hills. A friend of the original finder of the Cheese posted on UK420 the story of how it came about:

This is exactly the same story we heard ,, from the UK growers/collective that were maintaining and sharing the original UK Cheese clone online (about 6 years ago).

I'm on three canna forums and in the last week three people have been banned for life for ripping into me for no good reason, then this morning another shitstorm brews up at one of the sites, I just can't put up with it anymore, it's destroyed any enjoyment I got out of visiting these sites. Then Poison Ivy turns up here, I suspect he's one of the people who got banned elsewhere. It's all getting beyond a friggin joke. I'm seriously considering deleting every account I have on the net and going back to the way it was for me for the first 10 years of growing - working totally alone with no help from anyone, it was more fun that way.

Also I got some A2 x SK#3 pips that I think are the most interesting sounding ones to find and make some daddies from they are pure old.. Like the first gen parents that are used today some of my type of phenos definatly in there the other lines are NL x SK#1 and SK#1 x NL from my blues thread that indifferent put up the seed company doing strains at the time,, Sensistar There are too many old lines lost and forgotten I was looking and there are soo many bastardized lines LOL..
