Cool info BeAn dude, i never knew it was possible to increase the male % by doing that, unfortunately don't have any Bone Meal tho man, do you think small doses of Bio Bizz Bloom in veg could maybe push the Male percentage up?, thanks for looking in guys

Yeah maybe, i think its just the ratio of P or K over N that increases the male %....just before they show sex(normaly around week 3-4 is when the switch flicks over to either female or male, according to DutchPassion you can influence sex at this stage...worked by accident for me outdoors with BOG's gum's..)

I am a great fan of NL5xHaze, which has, of late, become quite underrated if you ask me.

This great weed was parent to some amazing modern classics, including SuperSilverHaze, JackHerer and NevillesHaze! I think there's tons of potential to it still. Huge plant, big yields, strong as an ox, and that high... oh my!

I'm not the world's greatest fan of Cheese, but I'm sure you'll come up with some nice phenos in your cross.

u're so right about NL5Haze, those genes are present in most strong nowadays polyhybryds and def underrated matey... and it is a definite one hit wonder...

reminds me that skunk 1 x nl5haze is Jack Herer which is very similar to cheese x nl5haze, so nothing so new hu?

Found 2 Strange Plants

Found 2 Strange Plants

Hi Guys,
i've found 2 strange plants out of the 9, i'll start with those 2 before i go onto the main update. The 1st pic is that Midget NL#5xHaze (the 1 that had always been the slowest to grow out of the 9), it's developed this weird yellow marbeling on a few leaves and has been growing the slowest and drinking the water the slowest out of the 9 plants, definately not a deficiency, quite interesting to see it, it looks like it's gonna be a short 1 (height wise) so maybe i've found that small NL#5xHaze pheno i was talking about in the 'History of Northern Lights Thread'?. The 2nd and 3rd pic is the second plant, it has a weird veriagated (sp) marking on 2 leaves (1 leaf each on 2 nodes), and the leaf blade curls around to the left in a hook shape, it's only on 2 leaves on the plant ( on 1 blade on 1 leaf, then the next nodal section up on 1 leaf blade as well, so i'm wondering if this is a trait it's gonna carry on through?, pics of the other plants to follow

Gonna be transplanting all plants upto their final size pot tomorrow - 11 litre pots, roots have been growing really fast due to them being under a MH now, nice thick white roots showing at the bottom already, the UK Cheese clone that's in the last pic was transplanted into an 11 litre pot last night as well (had a beautiful root system).
1st pic is the group shot (taken last night just as my batteries ran out)
2nd, 3rd + 4th pics are random leaf shots from different plants showing differences in the leaves already
last pic is the UK Cheese clone that will be pollinated by the lucky chosen NL#5xHaze Male Stallion, clone is starting to get a real nice size now, more pics to follow tomorrow once all plants are moved up to the 11 litre pots

Lookin damn good man.. Have you thought about maybe what pheno you're looking to use?? Are you looking to use a haze dom male or more NL leaning??? Are any of them starting to smell yet?? Prolly hard to tell with a Cheese cut in there.. Man you definetly got my attention.. For sure..

remember that 1 pheno you mentioned earlier in the grow?, that 1 has the most unique smell i've seen so far from NL#5xHaze (and strongest smelling at this stage of the grow), putting out a funky spicy pine smell, really does smell amazing bro, there's a couple others that are smelling like straight pine as well (just need to hover above them then the aromas are noticable) so hopefully this is a good sign of things to come

respect brotha , what day flowering do you reckon it's best to pollinate the UK cheese to get the maximum number of seeds?, do you think around week - 4-5 (day 28-35)?, wanna make sure i get as much seeds from this clone as possible, not gonna be smoking anything from the clone, 100% seed producing girl
