.....what if the plant he received back as the skunk some time afterwards was infact a hybrid of the initial skunk he sent them with either the NL or SP? could also explain why after he got it back it started to stink more? could explain why we have cuts like the Exo/jah,window,brum ect...,they could be just the original pheno or indeed other ones made by those growers and passed out, and not the one he got back and therefore may explain why exodus were passed the super stinky lower yielding one(less shared) and most people knowing the jah or window for example as cheese(widely spread)...
Basically the actual guy who popped the seed, didnt keep her, gave her to other growers, got her back and she was different...and this is years before of the hill/cf got her and passed her to the exodus crew....no wonder its minefield lol
For bimblebrains: Good thinking - that's an interesting scenario. It could mean the ultra-stinky cut being called Brightsides in this thread is one of the hybrids and that cheesefarmer got that one back instead of the original, explaining why he thought it had evolved to have a stronger smell. Meanwhile, Pistils could have then given the original to Obsoul33t.I have no idea. Subcool (rip) said the one from pistils was a lower yielded tho, but chalked it up to being sungrown vs indoor.
For shishkaboy: So you think Obsoul33t got his clone from pistils? Who did pistils get his clone from?
Personally - I think the differences between what Obsoul33t got and what is being called the Brightsides are two different cuts and what CSI got is probably a third. I also think the one we're calling Brightsides is the most notorious of all and that it is probably the "best" cheese cut - better than the original.
Hopefully this helps in unraveling the cheese mystery:
I didn't get my cut from Cloney. In fact, I actively check what Cloney offers on Strainly and he first started offering cheese cuts well after I had gotten mine. I also never gave mine to Cloney. His first listing was for "UK Cheese". Then, for a brief period, he offered two of them, one that he called Brightsides and another he called "nor-cal circulated cut". I don't know what either he - or anyone else in this thread means by "nor-cal circulated cut" - mine came to me by mistake and I was told it should not be traded/sold. That doesn't sound "circulated" to me. "Nor-cal circulated cut" was probably the nickname Cloney gave whatever cut he had - because he was circulating it, lol.
