Imo It's an excessive flash and white balance making that picture look like a fake ,,that example of blues and cheese is perfect to show the difference between blues and one of the cheese cuts,,it looks like the cheese that got sent around norcal,,its not vilot enough to be brightsides ,,

The Jack and blues crew from Barnsley,,,when I bought weed from them guys it was always blues and Jack, don't think I ever saw the livers,, they got the sk1 types late in the 2000s,,I think the same guys used to run slyder, black domina and jack flash?,,,

I've said a few times in the thread now Rick that Livers and Blues are the same thing. If you saw one, you saw the other.

.... when ugorg did the "Killer Skunk" (blues bx2) and "Blues" drop? (2008/2009) Exactly when everything started to become convoluted and all the "Sheff Blues" "Steel City Blues" prefixes started appearing out of no where for sub-par selections...

Its a town with a quarter of a million people and like 6 grow shops that could be anyone really lol. The guy who was doing the main cuts out of a shop in town was knocking out Jack and Livers cuts (Called Blues after Livers asked for it to stopped being called his namesake, i dunno where "blues" came from though, someone here said Birmingham?), another local shop at the time used to have a Northern Lights cut but that too was superceded by Jack and Livers eventually. This is all pre 2008. The NL used to smell and taste really meaty. I never grew it, only smoked it.

The Kriss-Kross moniker evolved independantly, the team who called it that apparently called it that because the guy who Livers got the cut off was a less than favorable character, and they wanted to distance themselves from Livers and him, and so wouldn't call it Livers. Interestingly enough, they claim the unsavoury character did the cross himself. I've also heard someone else claim it was made locally, and its B52 x Shiva Skunk. I'm not too sure I believe that one personally. But the Kriss-Kross team on the other hand are good guys and of whom a member of I hold in very high regard, more so than any others who were involved up to press.

Then its a selection from the ugorg reproduction, you can't tell me otherwise, unless its the Barnsley Jack in which case send me a cut lol cos that is better than livers and cheese.

Hey man that northern light cross you talked about was some of my best smoking experiences. “The Norths” as it was referred too: simply a fantastic haze cross. Northern lights x juicy fruit x silver haze. Such a nice cut to grow with massive fluffy haze buds. Depending on growing environment you would get juicy fruit bubble gum flavour or more Leaning on the silver haze side with a slight metallic flavour ( in a nice way)

Wonder now what the results are with cleaned up exodus cheese.. just not good to grow around neighbourhoods as it ducking stinks!! 🥳

Yeh,,so I asked buddah a while back and he wasn't too sure, but sonic was,, he said at first he used brightsides but after a while when he was going to the cups he started bringing sonics suicide cut ,,not sure if he used it in the breeding tho, so the initial back crosses were using brightsides apparently

How do you know what Bimble has if I'm not 100% sure,,,a few of them look like Bimbles
