Tying down query

Many people use those "twisty" (twisty like bread uses, comes in a big roll) things that gardeners use...I just use string. I tie it to the pot so I can move the plant around.
If you're asking "how" like in "when" to tie it down...it's subjective.
how about a picture so we can get an idea WHY you want to tie it down.

If you're picky, they make plant tape for just this purpose. I'm with ib, I use twist ties from bread, garbage bags, electronics etc
