Ya exactly, after hanging duct a few times you'll be a pro at laying it out right. Its more efficient to pull the air than push it, but pushing air will keep the smell In your basement instead of your yard.

What I do is pull ambient cold air from the basement thru the lights and lines and dump it out the crawl space vents. I think by dumping your hot air into the basement you are just kicking yourself. Think hard on it, if u can get the hot air out of your space all your problems will be solved. And yes, def straighten the lines as much as possible & use duct booster fans around corners you can't straighten.

Where were you dumping the AC's exhaust? I'm assuming u had a portable unit... With those you want as SHORT a run as possible for exhaust, and I use duct boosters or an inline to help the air exhaust faster. VERY IMPORTANT - insulate the exhaust duct from AC, home depot sells pipe wrap and duct insulation sleeves. You'll be shocked by what a difference this makes.

Thanks man, ill def start Exhausting out the window. Not too worried about smell I run a straight ducting line threw all the hoods and then just have seperate inline fans hooked up to my filters recirculating the air within the tent. I have a few booster fans lying around just need to dig em' up. Hoping once the cold weather comes I can either give vert a shot or run some adjust-a-wings and run everything completley sealed and just pull cold air from outside when temps rise to high.

Lookin real good brotherman! Thats one thing i love about the MBS is its ability to root fast and provide a shit ton of roots. Just made the switch to coco also but using GH line. Im glad to of gotten some fine genetics to you cause i know you will do well young skywalker hahaha :tiphat:

That MANEATTER is really gonna rock out. Some of the finest flowers i have ever smoked and my patients cant believe how fast the flowers put them into a cannacoma. Plus if ur looking to make bubble or bho she will fill ur bags generously!

Yeah man real pumped for all the genetics! Currently got over 10 strains in dis bitch! So things will be interesting for sure
Both Maneater's are looking real nice... One stinks hardcore! the other isn't putting off to much of a smell... Don't want to jinx anything yet but they both have a male dominant growth structure... But hey maybe it's just the strain... Only time will tell! :tiphat:

You'd be surprised how much scent will be picked up thru the hoods. If your pullin air, every seam in your hoods or clamp point on your ducts will suck air from rooms into line. I tape up all seam on my hoods cus of this but smells still come thru... Probably should have used insulated ducting everywhere, hindsight is a bitch.

Ya I hear you loud and clear brotha man! Cant stand how you have to cut a hole in the ducting with these kahuna reflectors to feed to lanp socket cord threw... Biggest pain ever. Most likely wont be firing up the flower tents for another 2-3 weeks so hopefully we will have some cooler temps upon us by then. What kind of portable are you running TD? Is it a dual hose?

The pre98 crosses are going on there 4th node and will be transplanted outta the solo cups and into coco when I get back. Also going to throw the 1K MH on for the next month or so and then flip dem' bitches.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates.... the past few days have been hell for me. I left my grow "partner" to tend to the plants for a week while I was gone... which only included 2 waterings and I pre-mixed and labeled all the water for him. I find out he's gone MIA a day AFTER they were supposed to be watered.... so I had to cut my Maine Vaca short and to an emergency watering. The Pre98 crosses got hit the worst but still pulled threw with just a few damaged leaves as you can see in the pics. The rest were fine but still WTF?!
Anyways plants are all doing pretty good the veg tent is packed at the moment! Plan on setting up all the blumats and firing on the MH on sunday just need to make some last minute ventilation modifications.
Transplanted all the ECSD,HH,MBS,Pre98 IX,Pre98xNL#5Haze, and McFly's into 1gal pots with roots organic. All being fed around 300PPM of the veg+bloom formula 5.8 on the PH.
While being away from the garden it let my mind think up some ideas! Since the ECSD runs 70+ days I'm planning on running the first tent vertical SOG with a trellis netting. 16 plants in 2gal pots with coco using ECSD,Chem4XOTM, And the Pre98 crosses... All my other girls are 60 days max so don't really want to harvest half a tent and leave the other half in there... Lots of things going on!:big grin: Enough of me blabbing... onto the pictures.

Thanks man! Only reason the pre98 crosses got hit the most was because they were due for a transplant and were drinking more than usual.... this veg nutrient scene is pissing me off though! Any ideas whats going on in that last pic? Ready to just put the veg+bloom away till flower and use Canna a+b....

Lookin good man! That ManEater looks beautiful! Hopefully u get a female. Def keep her is shes a female. The PreBubba x NL5Haze look good minus them not being watered. Those plants are gonna explode with crazy growth under the MH. It does look like a bit of N defencey. Glad ur enjoying the genetics cant wait to see these bad bitches in full bloom!

Making some more medibles. Caramel candies, Lollipops, Dark Chocolate Ganja Cups and of course moer honey tincure :tiphat:

Looks dank brotha. Nice to see the p98 x babies around again... Keep the males!

I use a LG 16k btu portable, it's only one hose. Our duct lines thru the hoods and cool tubes do most of the work.

Did u recently transplant those girls with they deficient looking leaves? Were they over grown in solo cups for a while?

They were transplanted about a week ago from solo cups with happy frog just being fed straight Ph'ed water with some Roots Excel. Got transplanted into 1gal pots with coco and first feed was around 300ppm and a few days after there first feed they started showing that.
Just couldnt tell if they wanted to be fed more or less! Figured 300ppm feeding woud be enough for them since there only on there 4th node. Guess I gatta bump it up!
