I hear ya. Yeah pretty much in the same boat when it comes to this growing thing. Pretty much just me and a couple close friend. I just want to learn how to grow the best buds and I’m mainly a Indica man but I try anything for the taste. Prettt new to this tent thing so not sure about temp and humidity level in the tent to dry and not ruin the terps and flavors. Right now having a tough time getting it dialed in as to not dry too fast and not to be too humid to cause mold. My tent today is at 67.2° and 47.2 % humidit. I have the humidifier going outside the tent with the tent cracked open a bit. May have to move humidifier into the tent but If I stay near 50% it should be ok, No? I’m just worried temp may be too high I wanted to keepI enjoyed watching your grow, ive never grew auto flowers yet, because some grows i do 12 on 12 off, its fun, but also you were growing in 3gallon pots, and now thats my go to pot, i grow just for me an mine! so only thing important to me is quality, almost every time i smoke someone elses smoke, which isnt that often, i get scratchy throat, even some dispensereis stuff too, I listen more than talk, id hate to give wrong advice, I like variety, light pots, and easy growing, and learning everyones way of doing it!
I might do me some outdoor auto flowers this year, so many seeds to get to, and i keep looking to get more, it dont make sense, lol ! gotta enjoy yourself!
Thanks for giving me your dry methods. Yeah my last grow was Granddaddy Purp and I thought I had the numbers where I wanted it I dried it with a netting system which I wasn’t to happy with end results. If the buds would have had the nice strong smell like it did before finish I would have been happy. But it only took like 4/5 days and it seemed like it was too dry. But then I also cut everything off and just had the branches with the buds drying on the net. It was also dead of summer, bought a portable AC unit because it was so hot and i couldn’t get the temps right. So this being my second indoor grow I’m going to take the slow route and like you say just cut off the dead leaves and the bigger fan leaves. So keeping my fingers crossed this comes out to my liking. Thanks again for taking interest in my grow. Hopefully after maybe 20 successful grows I can help so newbies with little helpful tidbits that make all the difference in the world.Yea your right about screwin up now, all that work, been there done that, when i dry, I take off only big fan leaves, hang the whole plant in the room they grew in, ventalations alot better. and I try to get as close to 60 degrees an 60% humidity for at least 10 days or longer, I never hit those numbers, lol maybe this time i can get closer, boss ladys says i can run my ac I've had waiting to be used, hope she remembers, lol. the last 3 drys I could only get 7 days, not cool enough, and the humidity was to low. Thats the way i do it now, tried just about every way, and I'm sticking to it.
good luck on the finish!
Thanks for your help.Ok for drying you are looking at wanting to keep them at 60temp/60humid the whole time or as close to that as you can. I let mine go for at least 2 weeks like that. No hard and fast rule when they are done. Depends a bit on size and density. If you keep it in that range it will do great. I have taken to letting mine go a touch longer and then put then into jars. You don't need to burp then as the bud is ready to go.
Ideal ph range for this grow would be 5.7 to 6.2. Check this not at the runoff but your feed water. PH it before you feed to make sure it is correct. Always add ph buffers after all nutes have been added then check it to see if it needs adjusting.. Your plants looked VERY hungry the entire grow. You want them to be bright green, not yellow the whole time then back off at the end and let them fade out a bit. Check pH with every feed.
Have a sweet day. Peace, negative.
