TV Takes It in the Ass

My wife works for a TV network.

It played out like script in a movie when they found out we don't even have a TV hooked up to cable.

You know the sound of needle scratching across a record and the room going silent.

It was funny as hell.

Our TV is used for watching movies on the weekends.

Television the drug of the nation

Anybody remenber this rap song?
"Television the drug of the nation
Bringing ignorance..."

That song was really good.

I do watch a lot of tv. Disney with my daugther.
The cooking chanel with my stomach. The weather chanel with my surfboard
And movies with the vaporizer.

i watch a decent amount of tv but its either sports, 24, or animated shows like South Park (BEST SHOW ON TV!!!) and futurama. ive been tired of these lame reality and game shows since they first started and thought theyd be gone by now. guess i was way wrong. thanks for the article, good read.

I have a TV and watch mainly foreign flicks on it I download from soulseek. I used to hack DishNET and for the 2 years or so that I had it wide open, the only thing Id watch was porn. Everything else was lame as hell.

The last thing I remember about watching TV a few years ago was that product placement was quickly creeping into shows on the major networks. And shows on the web are having the same thing happen in a lot of them from what I can tell. Though there may not be any commercials, there will be tons of product placement in the content they do push. Fuuuuuck that.

And American movies have just gotten way too scripted for me at this point. It's hard watching American movies now and not just see/hear actors reciting lines from a script. Very unenjoyable, especially since you can predict how they will end about 99.999% of the time.

I pretty much stick to the lifetime movie network.

Ganja struetu?
anyone ever wonder why "Reality" TV shows are the COMPLETE opposite of reality?

i smell some subliminal recognition techniques here.

The only TV i watch are movies [rarely] and Adult Swim on occasion.
