Okay, this place is huge. I am barely computor literate enough to log on and join. Is there a section that explains the various functions and how to use them? Can someone explain the rep thing for me. Some kind souls apparently gave me some rep points but I have no way of knowing who it was. I thank them.

Also for the rep, from left to right it has Thread, Date, Posted by, and comment.

No, as per the TOU you won't see who left you rep, be able to use pm's or a custom avatar until 50 posts+ 7 days membership.
