The appeals process 'playing out' doesn't necessarily equate to not paying a dime. This is a State court decision, and Donnie's being Prez, or the equivalent of the MAGA Mafia Don, makes him immune from nothing about it.
The fact is that it went down as yet another proven fuck-up of ethically void behavior by the Felonious Orange Nuisance, whose daddy could've done the Nation a great service by being home more often, providing decent parenting, and maybe an occasional ass-whooping or set of restrictions/grounding, rather than incessantly asking and exclaiming, "My kid?!! No way!!" every time little Donnie got into trouble.

Instead, the Nation will have to fill in re. those roles, as the Trumps have nearly always been way too busy denying their culpability, even when the evidence was freshly painted on the walls.
But you were incorrect about the case, the outcome(s), and even Donnie's ability to make it go away. In other words, your batting average and accuracy aren't faring too well at the moment.
