Gone is Trump’s demand to lift the debt ceiling, which GOP leaders told lawmakers would be debated as part of their tax and border packages in the new year. Republicans made a so-called handshake agreement to raise the debt limit at that time while also cutting $2.5 trillion in spending over 10 years.

It’s essentially the same deal that flopped the night before in a spectacular setback — opposed by most Democrats and some of the most conservative Republicans — minus Trump’s debt ceiling demand.

So much for cutting 2 trillion dollars from the budget. Feeling used yet, MAGA?

All you guys sound exactly the same. Why not use real examples instead of making claims based on feelings and opinions

My claim was based on a threat Trump made.to use offensive military force.
Are you saying he didn't at least indirectly threaten to commandeer the Panama Canal?
It would be nice if you could admit that happened rather than evade the obvious to protect your feelings and opinions.

When politicians start wars, which socio-economic class is usually sent or even drafted (enslaved) to fight those wars?

Do you think Baron Trump types will be leading the charge in a war or do you think some "working class" young guys will be sent to act as cannon fodder to protect USA big business?

The problem with silly flag humping Republicans is they don't understand actual free markets or actual freedom. They reflexively say to any military vet, "thank you for your service" as if invading foreign lands makes the world safer. They tell the cannon fodder they're heroes even if all they did was guard a broom closet on some base and never even killed people to protect big business profits.

Foreign invasion is anti-freedom. Why would you support ideas that are anti freedom?

Trump will also hurt working class people by employing tariffs.

Supporting foreign invasions and preventing the free flow of goods across borders? Sounds alot like the old Soviet Union Comrade!

Tariffs are a hidden tax to the consumer. They result in higher costs to the "working class" on foreign items. Tariffs are anti free market and advance cronyism and protectionism. Free people should have expanded choices, not restricted choices. Trump is anti-economic freedom, government should get out of protecting business that can't compete. Government protectionism reduces competition and ensures domestic protected companies can keep charging higher prices to domestic "working class" consumers.

Trump has also mentioned he wants to execute "drug dealers". Trump doesn't own my body or yours, he should fuck right off talking about what people can and can't put in their own bodies. Executing people based on his preferences is tyrannical. I bet no big pharma executives get executed if it's found out their drugs killed people. Trump will protect them!

Trump also threatens "working class" people's freedom of expression when he suggested making burning a flag illegal. If it's my flag and I didn't steal it, I'll use the fucking thing to wipe my ass with if I like. Freedom!!!

"Working class" people should stop eating the toxic foods big business is feeding them, it clouds their minds and makes them think Trump is for freedom, when clearly he's not.

Poverty rates went down while he was in office.

It's common for Presidents to take credit for things that may have nothing to do with them and to blame their predecessor if things go shitty during their term in office.

This is simplistic bullshit used to distract voters and keep them arguing with each other,

The question shouldn't be which President can "run the economy better". The question should be, "why the fuck are Presidents meddling in shit they shouldn't be"?

The answer to the second question is to ensure. "the right people" make money in a rigged game. Both sides support that game. Think Liz Cheney and both fake political sides of her... she is full on uni-party.

Presidents should stay out of economic affairs. Government protectionism, especially government currency protectionism of Federal Reserve system is what funds wars abroad, wars domestically (war on drugs) and fuels inflation and a pile of other fuckery across the world that hurts and endangers everyday people.

When the voting populations of both parties wake up to knowing how and why they're being played... they can stop arguing with each other.

The wars can end and people can then go on minding their own business and respecting their neighbors wishes even if their neighbors peaceful choices aren't their choices.
