true 6 week strains?

I heard the "beaster" cut that all those canadians used to grow in the 90's was regularly cut @40 days.
That being said that herb was not too good (being nice)
I forget the actual name of the strain tho..
I knew it at one point..

beasters. now there's a word that strikes home. Maybe a newer aged description? Yeah, it wasn't great. "dro", aka hydro taken early, dried in 2 days and bagged. no terps. often hay.

Found a very resinous cut (not "beasters) that finishes with amber in 56 days, I thought that was impressive. at 7 weeks its at 50-60% cloudy. The only cut i've ever had that shows 10-20% amber at 56. it hits true flower around day 7 rather than 14-21.

I was one of those who was convinced that NOTHING could be finished in less than 9 weeks. However, my belief was changed this week. I was gifted some med man silver skunkbx from seed bay that I harvested last week. 2 phenols, the first started throwing nanners at about 5weeks...it smelled like blueberries and was super frosty so I tried to just puck them off, but decided to chop at day forty. All trichs were cloudy and, though it wasn't a high yielder, the nugz were super dense and the bag appeal is still VERY good. The high is strong and lasts. The second had no visible nanners, but looked as good as the first, onlymuch bigger buds. The trichs were also all cloudy with an amber here and there. The buds big and dense. This one also smelled like blueberry....muffins or cheesecake, maybe fruit rollups and both dripping in trichs. Nmber two is also potent and long lasting. Number two was harvested at day 45 BC upon researching other's grows and from the breeder, I found that the cross throws nanners when it goes past its peak. I didn't want to risk seeds in the room. I will be running a clone of number 2 and let her go a little longer. to see what happens, I will probably run her in a big room for production if it turns out well.

I wish I wasn't spooked about taking pics BC I think some would be as amazed as I am at the size, density, and frost. I spent 1000s on seed the last couple of years, and this is one of VERY few that I was impressed with.

Used to have a old pheno of silver pearl that would finish in 45 days. Ripe with milky trichomes. U could take it to 50 but it was better at 45. Phenominal flavor and high. Yield not so much.

This cross is silver pearl x skunk1. This one really ticks all the boxes...yield, frost, flavor, smell, AND a super fast flower period. I will be stoked to have this as a girl I can monocrop for production. If #2 doesn't throw nanners kn this next run with her I will be doing a big run with her; upon trimming I didn't see any....fingers crossed. I'll add that she is a pretty fast vegger and the overall plant structure is nice.

Interesting I got an old sp cross that's pretty good and frosty and finishes in 55 or so. She seems to make some nice crosses.

Some people here say it is not possible to grow a plant to finish in under 7 weeks from 12/12. Come on people, your experience can not be the standard for everybody. It IS possible! The fact that you didn't have that luck or the experience doesn't mean others can't have it.

I think it requires lack of experience and knowledge to chop any plant under 7 weeks. so let me guess you start flushing at week 6??
lol
id love to see some pics of these plants finished in 7 weeks with a proper fade and 100% ready.. I just cant see it happening..

Harvestable and finished are two different things. You can pull early strains at 45 days and get something decent, are they finished, no.

Mother of Cherries at 42 days 12/12

the mother in this cross apparently was a clone only that finished in 42 days.

I learned that if you take a clone after two weeks into seeing pistols . re veg and re veg it will kind of hard set the age of what time you cliped the clone and now when you veg her She will will be quick and eager to flower and i shit you not this works i done it with a , black domina x lavender the only kaboodle iS it takes time and a little abuse to make her vigorous and chose this cut out of ten that sat in a cup of moldy organic r.o water for two week or so and She was the last chick standing without any major defect and after making her a mother her baby's still flower 6 weeks with hard very hairy nuggets .

or maybe jut gotten lucky with a good seed and did all that for nothing who knows..
