Forgive the defects in the quality and framing of the photos, but the luminosity of the day prevents almost totally to see what appears on the screen of the mobile phone.

Damn, I have gotten a new temporary job, and they tell me that the following day 17, I have to leave for Tarragona (about 700 km/430 miles away, in the NorthEast Mediterranean coast) to work, and it is not known if I will have to stay there for a month or for two...

It clearly looks like a "pheno" "Congo Point Noire"

Last photos and a goodbye to the gals, before leaving on a work trip for near 2 month (but unlike in the song, I will definitely return)...

I fold the plant with ropes (actually shoelaces), in case in my absence they rub against the bird mesh that roofs "La Perrera" or the metal mesh, and I secure the three against the blows of the wind, also with laces...

So from September 17 to November 8 (2022), I spent it displaced working near Tarragona; far from my family, dogs, plants, valley and hills... but close to me also always longed for the Mediterranean, next to which I spent my early childhood... Ahhhhh... The old and warm Mediterranean...

"Maybe because my childhood
is still playing on your beach,
and hidden behind the reeds
sleeps my first love,
I carry your light and your scent
wherever I go...
...And huddled in your sand,
I keep love, games and sorrows...

I, who in my skin have the bitter taste
of the bitter taste of eternal weeping,
that a hundred peoples have poured into you,
from Algeciras to Istanbul,
for you to paint in blue
their long winter nights...
...By dint of misfortunes,
your soul is deep and dark...

To your red sunsets,
my eyes have grown accustomed
like the bend in the road...
...I am a singer, I am a storyteller,
I like the game and the wine,
I have the soul of a sailor...
...And what am I going to do?
If I was born in the Mediterranean...
...I was born in the Mediterranean...

And you come nearer, sea, and you go away,
after kissing my village...
...playing with the tide,
you leave, thinking of coming back;
you are like a woman,
perfumed with tar...,
...who is longed for and loved....,
...who is known and feared....

Oh! If one day for my bad,
Death comes looking for me...
...push my boat into the sea,
with an autumn east wind,
And let the storm
scrap its white wings...
...And bury me without mourning...
...between the beach and the sky...
On a hillside,
higher than the horizon,
I want to have a good view...
...My body will be a path,
I'll give its green to palm trees and pines,
and yellow to the genista...

But close to the sea, because I...
...I was born in the Mediterranean...
...I was born in the Mediterranean...
...I was born in the Mediterranean..."

Also, I soon made good friends in Tarragona...

...So from September 17 to November 7 (2022), I am many hundreds of kilometers from "La Perrera". On top of that, on November 7th they tell me that although I have satisfactorily finished my work there in Tarragona, on November 9th I have to be in the Campo de Gibraltar of Cádiz (Algeciras, San Roque, La Línea and Gibraltar) to start another job throughout the rest of the month, maybe more... I have to cross the country again (or at least the European continental part), but I take a detour through my valley and my mountains to spend a day at home.
And this is how I find myself in "La Perrera" after almost 2 months of absence: the plants have only received water, and not much, and the lack of any subscriber has greatly limited their development.
8 - November - 2022 :
King Congo
(Congo Point Noire x South African Ciskei, Tropical Seeds Company, born 15-May; 5 nodes-10 lower branches pruned).
It has suffered the total absence of food and the scarcity of water during my almost 2 months of absence (from 17-September to 8-November). I think that in ideal conditions I would not harvest it until from 25-November...But I must risk to go away for another month, leaving it on the ground flowering...

From November 9 to December 1, 2022:
That will be the time I will spend away in this second interval hundreds of kilometers away from my humble cultivation. I will be in the region from where one of the Pillars of Hercules of the Ancient World emerges,
specifically on the North or European side. In this photo of me at sunrise, you can see part of the Bay of Algeciras, with Gibraltar in the background:

...If I had turned the phone a little to the right, you could have seen Africa on the horizon, about 15 kilometers away: directly the coasts or lights of the cities of Ceuta (Spain) and Tangier (Morocco) . It is in Ceuta where the South or African Column would be; (These photos of 2 of the Pillars of Hercules monuments in Ceuta are from the internet; I would be taking my photo on the European side, on the far left of the opposite coast seen in the last photo):

Again in my mountain valley in the interior. A look at "La Perrera" on my return.
King Congo (Congo Point Noire x South African Ciskei, Tropical Seeds Company, born 15-May; the 5 nodes-10 lower branches have been pruned).
Very soft and subtle smell (precious wood, spices, red grape must):

(...) 2 - December - 2022 : ...I was going to harvest this King Congo (Congo Point Noire x South African Ciskei, Tropical Seeds Company), the morning of the following day 2-December...but at shortly after arriving home on the 1st, they called me again to work another week (maximum, they assure me) away from home...

I only have time to redo part of my recently unpacked luggage; I leave the plant without any supervision (at this time, the first day of meteorological winter and 20 days after the astronomical start, the lack of irrigation is no longer a problem, since It is the wettest season in my valley and mountains)...

After spending mid-September to this day circling the northeast and the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, I am finally back "for good" and I will be able to finish my harvest. This is how I find the King Congo (Congo Point Noire x South African Ciskei, pheno C.P.N., Tropical Seeds Company, born on May 15; the 5 nodes-10 lower branches have been pruned). Soft and subtle smell between noble woods, walnuts, spices and red grape must:

(...)8 - December-2022 :

King Congo
(Congo Point Noire x South African Ciskei, "pheno C.P.N.", Tropical Seeds Company).

On one of the lower branches, shaded, and less budded, near the origin of the branch of the main stem, I find two small isolated buds (the size of a thumb) that have developed some male flower...; They must be late and recent, because after a careful inspection, I only discover some seeds in the outermost parts of the buds of the closest branches, and not inside them. Water stress from mid-September to mid-November, plus the total lack of nutrient supply throughout flowering, cannot be a good combination...
...I cut the two hermaphrodite buds before thinking about photographing them... What I was able to photograph is something that I had never seen in person, and I thought it was only possible with these very late pure sativas, in areas with much warmer and humid climates than mine: seeds germinating directly in the buds... So that later we rack our heads with what if germination tests, "aging" of seeds that are too fresh to germinate well, heh, heh, heh... Now seriously, I already say that I had never seen it in my crop:

Olá!
Let's see what you think of this...; more songs back and forth: a Spanish singer covers a Brazilian band who in turn covered another Bolivian band...
