i do my part to steal their buisness one customer at a time^^^^^^^^^

I have been doing my part ´teaching people´ hundreds at a time for years now. Although, there have been patients that were not able to grow their own and they would fall under the ones who need our help. Not that they do not understand or do not posses the skills to grow their own but cannot due to a physical disability.

Wouldn't worry about this kind of thing. It comes from a lack of empathy, iwannatokandbone thinks if he/she can do something (like growing) then anyone else can too. Not being able to think further than the end of his/her own nose means he/she can't imagine that other people may not have all the advantages he/she does, good health and an able body for example. Just going by avatar I think it's a she btw.
I'd put it down to youth before anything else, they don't know any better in other words. A roll of the eyes and a tut is enough of a response for people like that imo ;)

If she posted that In the den I probally would have never noticed... In a MMJ forum I feel that her post should be Highlighted. I don't click on the report Icon (click-n-snitch) and just have what they said erased by a Mod...:tiphat:

May I remind everyone that it is against the TOU to start a thread directed towards another member. The discussion has been kept to the subject of the Sub forum so far but it it turns into a member bashing I will close this thread and bin it.

Thanks you for understanding.

I gave a couple ounces of my Hindu Kush cross to a gent a couple days ago who is suffering through some chemo treatments. We are not in a med state so going to a dispensary or easily finding a caregiver is not an option. There is no way he could handle the exertion of growing his own plants or wait for a garden to mature.
His wife called me early this morning and thanked me. They both had a good nights sleep and she told me that this morning was the first time in a couple weeks that he actually woke up hungry and was able to stomach some breakfast without discomfort.
About an hour ago she stopped by with an awesome cranberry cheesecake she made from scratch and thanked me again. Said they have been strapped for money the last few months due to medical bills and that the weed I dropped off the other night had helped her husband tremendously. She said that she hoped the cheesecake would help pay for the meds I gave them the other night and that the meds. I gave them were much better and "cleaner" than what they have been buying on the black market. When I told her I expected nothing in payment and the cheesecake was more than enough she started to cry. She said he husband will probably beat his cancer but the next few months will be pretty tough. I told her not to worry I'd take care of his cannabis needs if he needs more, and she doesnt need to make me cheesecakes every time. I know she has more important things to do.
She wiped her tears, gave me a big hug and gave me a big smile. We all know it. It was the smile of relief and realization that someone is willing to help. Now Im the one smiling all day.

Sorry my intention was to discuss the difference between the pot growing mentality vs the medicine growers mentality. Not just the member who brought it to my attention so helpfully.
I grow both.

That Cheesecake is worth more than any amount of money you can ever get for your effort. I will bet it is one of the finest you have ever had...Well done Sir. Well done

Some peeps can't grow, whether it is physical disabilities or lack of a green thumb.....that should not mean they can't get the meds they need. I have always said this, and I always will.......It is easy to grow weed, but growing quality meds, is a whole different ballgame. I will NEVER turn my back on a person in need, med card holder, or not. Pal, your empathy for those suffering, is as humbling as ever. Your patients are blessed!

There's just a lot to be said about putting yourself in someone elses place. Some folks need to pull their heads out. Pal you and every other caregiver deserves a lot of respect for the things you're able to do for others. You certainly have mine

There truly are quite a few people who for physical or other reasons have no chance to grow their own. Many people don't even like to grow. You seriously have to have a golden setup to do a decent job in a non med state.I'm finding that the baby boom gen is demanding an enormous amount of weed and they share it with their 40 something kids.Too many times it ends up being the trashy trailer minds that end up doing it and their lack of taste ruins it.I never thought the older gen would appreciate great pot but they won't grow it for themselves for social reasons. They all smoke but they havn't allowed the seedy aspect to leave their minds, the seedy part being the production/handling, everything that counts.:)Once they've seen a real chem family plant or the equivalent, thats it you've ruined them.
