Got loads of chocolate etc in for the little blighters, then only got one knock at the door.

I gave out about forty bucks worth of candy. Full size chocolate bars and skittles. Many kids gave praise to the quality treats I was giving out. Got about 30 kids that stopped by. Many of the kids were really young with appreciative parents standing close by. I gave out the treats from 7pm to 10pm. This year I put two lit jack-o-lanterns on the window sill. It looked cool flickering in the dark.

When I was a small kid, one of the neighbors had a sky line system with a catch, release, and return that stretched from the pine tree in his yard to a hook over his carport entrance where we'd walk up to the back door. When you turned around to walk out this huge ass gorilla like looking thing would all of a sudden swoop down on ya ass. Scared the crap out of ya the first time it happened. lol
No kids in my rural hood. The wife and daughter sponser a "trunk or treat" event at her office where she and several other businesses in town come out and hand out candy. This is the 3rd year doing so and has grown. Said they had in the neighborhood of 300 kids stop by last night.

The missus loves Halloween decorating. We have skeletons and ghosts in the yard and every year she makes the mailbox into a witch on a broom. She's pretty creative.



I like to carve the Jack-o-lanterns, this year instead of going scary, I went with pleasantly stoned . . .

I dressed up like a big Yellow minion(custom costume) and my boy was a Purple minion.

I had a few dabs and went around the neighborhood screaming like a little girl everytime my son came near me (HE WAS A PURPLE MINION)....."""AHHHHH PURPLE MINION !! ! "....

Or "BANANA ! ! ! !"

Been decorating our mail box like that for years and haven't ever had that happen.

Guess it depends on where you live?

Now come winter, the snow plows have taken it out many times.
