Trick or Treaters.

Does anyone get many Trick or Treaters at their home?
I dont get many if any but it occurred to me that I didnt have anything here in case a group of little goblins showed up by chance. No candy here in the Ahab household...
My buddy and I were discussing what I did have here in case.
I got the idea we could mess with lthe kids.. Put a bunch of things like sardines, canned potatoes, canned tomatoes, tuna,canned salmon in a basket. Then when they show up make a big deal out of it and watch their reaction when you show them your basket of "treats". LOL.
I just crack myself up sometimes.

That'll ruin a kids night real quick. I think it's funny unfortunately most adults don't have the same sense of humor we have. Next thing you'd b known as that guy n no one wants to b that guy. The crumbsnatchers might show up to egg your house later in the evening.

When I first moved here, when Halloween rolled around I had a big trash can full of clamshells, seaweed, urchin shells, rocks, and when the beggin' little fucks showed up I'd reach and grab a random hand full ...... 35 years without any of the little bastards since then ..........

I second the egging part. Kids are ruthless these days. I remember a house when I was a kid.. every year they would hand out educational computer games. Like really, wtf?

Also, if they saved the canned salmon until college they would thank you.

We're too far out and the houses are too far from each other. We get a couple of local kids that we know and that's about it. The missus handles all the decorating, candy, etc. I lock the dogs in the den with me and get high.

Some of those knee nippers are pretty adorable in their costumes though.

We normally get a ton of kids, every year, so I went out and bought $50 worth of the big Kit Kat sampler-thing-bags. We haven't even gone through 1/4 of the candy. Light turnout this year. Extra bagged candy is going back tomorrow.

There was some jackass on Fox News this morning who said that Halloween was just another liberal holiday that teaches kids about getting things without earning it (candy). That's why I watch the channel...Its freakin hilarious!!!

One of my neighbors had jello shots for the parents and candy for the kids. That's what I'm talking about.
Meanwhile my Halloween preparation involves turning off all of the lights and making sure my carbon filter is doing it's job.
Undercover car in the hood lights flashing had me scared but they were giving out candy lol. Had a pretty good scare.

luckily i have no doorbell and the house is far enough away from the gate that you can't reach it with thrown eggs (unless you are ichiro).
