For those interested in coming along for a bicycle ride In Amsterdam,visiting my favorite coffeeshops looking for nice hazes, here's the info. :wink:

Amsterdam is a very bike friendly city with many streets having dedicated bike lanes, and the city is very flat. The locals know it's the best way to get around, as you'll soon see upon exiting Central station.

I will be arriving a day before the IC420 starts and my 1st stop will be: RENT-A-BIKE DAMSTRAAT
The address is Damstraat 20-22 1012hk Amsterdam (50m from Damsquare)right around the corner from RENEE's bakery, there is a bikesign on the side walk. :wink:

I will have some discount flyers with address & map @ SD by the 17th(afternoon).

There is a deposit required of 25€ and an id card.
The bikes come with 2 locks, use them and you wont need insurance @2.50€ a day.
They rent several types of bikes. Bikes can be rented by the hour/day(s)/week
3.50€/7€/31€ (for the cheapest models) pedal brakes, no gears.
which are the ones I rent, preferably with a basket.

There are many places to rent bikes in Amsterdam, I've just always found these guys to be easy to deal with and fair priced.
I don't care where you rent your bike.
BUT it would be nice if you plan on coming along for the tours, that you rent your bike ahead of time. renting a bike takes about 5-15 min depending on how busy the shop is.


The schedule says the bike tours leave SD @ 11am (being swiss) thats when I plan on leaving.

Part of the reason for this thread is so I can have a rough Idea of how many people will come along for the ride.


Also as the tours will be dependant on the riders to a degree, are there places/coffeeshops people want to be included?
or other questions ?

anyways it's time for some haze.
Last night i picked up some amnesia haze, from hunters coffeeshop/bar for my morning haze joint.

now it's the morning....
very tasty musty & spicy hazey flavour hmmm hmmm hmmm 9:08

2 hits and my heads tingling.
the joint burned nicely from start to finnnish with a light grey hash, it started to lose some flavour after midway, but you still taste the haze.

Is that MLI bubble? That must be fabulous! When I grew it out first thing I thought was...this should make some truly exceptional hash!

I think it is mli bubble , but i'm not positive as the bag of trim was not labeled.
it is fairly strong smelling so the smell should be revealing.


it's 9:30 the wake n bake is starting @ SD
i'll ride by later, 1st breakfy and a visit chez the haze man see if he'll play trade. then SD to get the bike tour organized.

love the trichome tours ,,, its a challange just to keep on the bike during these tours , i know i upset a few bicycling dutch people while i was out there , few close calls ....
shame i can t join in , always enjoy a nice ride when im off my face , breeze in the hair , well what s left of it ,,, nice view s ,,,, ooopps where d that gutter come from ... lol ...
ill make sure i bring plenty of this when i do next tf ....

Good luck on the rematch at the roller coaster, She took you out last year pretty easy and now she is a year older probubly about 9 or 10 ,but you have had a year to practice so Id say even money on the outcome this year ... Sorry to say Im voteing for the little girl , but you gotta let me know how it turns out

Well one of my goals whenever I visit Amsterdam is to find some nize hazes.

unfortuanatly mini-me (digital camera) was having battery issues so I have less shots than I'd like.
anyways here is some of what I saw and tasted.

not in any real order.
Alegria from the tweede kamer. This has been on the menu here for quite a while now, and it's yet to disapoint me.

A little piece of Amnesia haze. i beleive this is a left over bud, that I picked up at Hunters coffeeshop.

It was my 1st time in this coffeeshop, and they had a nice selection.

I'll visit this place again.


very nice hazy smell and taste, a very fine smoke.
