You can sign up for a self read service, where you read the meter yourself and dial it in on a card that you leave out front once a month. That's what I did.

in this state, if your property is posted properly, you DO NOT have to prosecute trespassers, just make LEO aware of it happening w/names etc, & THEY will do it for you. you have to have signs posted by distance apart, signed, & an address/phone # written on them...
