I wasn't sure where to post this question, but since I've never done it before I guess this is probably a good place.
I have a micro grow going, using 126w of CFLs in a 1 sq. foot cab. Today is day 35 of flower. I'm using straight Pro Mix HP as a medium, with no extra perlite or other modifications. All are in 16 oz. party cups. Nutes that I'm using are Plant Life Systems' "Bing Bang Bloom" series. Not sure how much of that stuff is relevant, if any, but I figure it doesn't hurt to know.
Anyway, I suddenly have to go out of town for a couple of days, and I don't think I could just give them a good watering/feeding and they'd be ok for that long. Since the containers I'm using are relatively small, I'm watering them just about every day at this point. That's not a problem ordinarily, except for this unexpected trip.
I don't have the time or materials to set up pumps, hoses etc. before I go, but I thought using a simple reservoir and wick system would do the trick. So FINALLY to my question...How harmful would it be to transplant at this stage of flowering? I'm probably just going to put some wicks in new party cups, add a little Pro Mix, and then just take the plants out of their current cups and put them in the ones with the wicks in them. So it's not even changing the container size.
Any thoughts or insight anyone may have would be appreciated.
