Transplanting to bigger pot during flowering?

Bad idea? No worries? Depends?

Have a DGS Sweetest Cindy99 around 3 weeks into flower, and I'd like to give her more room, but if it would set her back noticeably or otherwise cause problems, I'll just let her be.

If she's thru the stretch her roots may be done growing homie ... After the harvest you may find your rootball and a bunch of unoccupied dirt

Peace up!

Thanx a lot guys-
I still might go ahead though, just to have some more water holding mass in there.

I'm in the high desert, it's still damn hot here, and the smaller pots can dry out faster...

Not a great idea unless it is absolutely neseccary. It can cause the strain to take alot longer to finish. This is my experience. Good Luck

if it's only a couple weeks in you'll probably be fine, if it's after 2~3 weeks imho it's kind of pointless

I do it when the plants need it. If you're gentle, no worries.

If your pots are drying rapidly due to heat, the larger pots are definitely warranted. Repeated lack of water will effect your yields more than any minor transplant shock. Plus, if your water is evaporating, it's leaving nutes behind, which could wreak havoc.
