anyways back to my question. I planted 8 seeds so far two have sprouted and are growing fast. My question is do I take them out of the dome with the heat mat or leave them until they get bigger.(also for some reason the heat mat doesn't seem to be getting that hot I could put my hand on it and feel no warmth anymore maybe its broke ?) Also when would a good time to introduce nutes I have the GH flora trio with distilled water. I am planning on transporting them to a dwc inside of a tent. My other question is should i transplant it in 3 inch pods first or straight to the 5 gallon full size

btw The two that are sprouted are pineapple express 2 which I named her penelope

Oooh, Pineapple Express 2, it is the best tasting strain in my bud room. Not as strong as some but the taste makes it my favorite anyway.
I pull mine out with the second set of leaves, the serrated leaves make an 'X' with the round leaves under. Of the six Pineapple Express 2 grown so far five have been tall with thin trunk and branches. One broke three feet up the stem. Got heavy on top and just bent in the middle. Working on that, cut the red down a tad to see it helps.

If the heat pad is broke then you did not need it. Nine out of ten the heat mat does not help matters and causes occasional problems instead.

Three part GH is used here as well, 1/4 strength nutes are begun at 4 to 6 weeks and strength is upped with age.
As they age judgement is used as various strains need more sooner than others. I have found the 'Aggressive' growth tables are a bit strong for most plants and fully twice as much as sativa would like.

I go straight from seed pot to final pot, but a more controlled growth is obtained by graduated transplant containers. Again, this is determined by strain, putting a sativa immediately in a large container was part of the too tall and skinny problem. Reduced root volume available as it grows keeps the plant more efficient but takes more time and effort. And many trial and error efforts to find the correct sequence.
Indica plants apparently do not seem to care as long as the container is large enough. Above ground growth is slower until the roots reach the edge of the container.

I flood and drain, which will affect the growth patterns a bit differently than DWC.
