anyone hear of this?

there is a scale that fits into a case that is an exact copy of an IPhone, I could see how you would get confused.

It's a common misconception that the IPhone is pressure sensitive, when in reality it works by sensing body heat. If you have one you can try poking the screen with any manner of objects including your fingernail and it wont work till it senses heat.

So I would say that the rumor you heard is not true.

i really doubt there is a programme to turn a mobile into a scale-for a start why would a mobile have a load cell in it.....
there are digaital scalles that look like ipods tho, maybe someone seen this and is getting thier wires crossed

Just messin If i liked the phone id get it...me if i like it, ill get it and pay for it but i wont just get something because everyone else haz it...and i wont buy clothes because of a name-likewise i wont dismiss an item of clothing i like because its made by a mainstream designer name as opposed to "right on" labels... when i was kid i used to diss ppl wearing designer labels...then i saw i coat i really wanted, very cheap...but it was valentino lol...not flash or anything just a nice coat...now i wear what the fuck i like.... im not trying to fit in anywhere...

Not only that, but to be able to simply load some software onto your ipod to turn it into a digital scale it still has to have the _hardware_ for the scales already built into it (and 1. there isn't much room for that in an ipod, and 2. it would add a lot more cost, especially at the weighing resolution you spoke of), and if the hardware DID exist why wouldn't there already be a scales program built into it by default?

Decades ago, I used a ruler, a pencil, and a nickle, and got consistant 5g bags.
I put the ruler at the 6" mark on the pencil till it balanced, then used the nickle as the counter-weight, then stacked the buds on the other end of the ruler.
Nickels(coins) are almost always 5g.
