North Indian Indica refers to cannabis strains native to the northern regions of India, particularly areas like Jammu and Kashmir.
While many regions in North India tend to have short-flowering, high-altitude sativa cultivars, some pure Indica landraces can be found, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.
These Indica strains are known for their calming and relaxing effects, often used for pain relief and sleep.

Trinity
Genetics: ‘76 Afghan x Master Kush (Hindu Kush x Skunk #1)

This short, thick marijuana plant produces well in small spaces forming single cola making it a good choice for sea of green and vertical grow systems. Thanks to its big fan leaves, the canopy closes quickly and is recommended to be kept short, with plenty of room underneath for air to move. This helps the plant to focus its energy on development of the terminal colas. The flavour is the earthy and sweet, with hashy overtones on the exhale. A clear-headed, cheerful high develops into a mellow contentment. A great all-around weed, with the flavour and effect that will leave the permanent smile on your face.

Genetics: ‘76 Afghan x Master Kush (Hindu Kush x Skunk #1)
Type: 90% Indica / 10% Sativa
Yield: Medium - High
Harvest: 8 - 9wks / beginning Oct
Stature: Short
I would absolutely love to grow some real trinity. I've never had it by itself but I love Afghani and master kush and espiritu sanctum (trinity x triangle kush) . There's just no way I wouldn't love it.

Trinity she was ok on this run but im gonna try her again maybe, can do better

Clone Only Strains Description

Variety: 75% Sativa, 25% Indica

Three-way hybrid of Northern California strains. The Trinity was bred in Wichita, Kansas and imported to Montana by Jeremy P.
He then shared it with friends in Oregon.
I have one of the last original mother plants of the Trinity which I have nurtured and shared with other local Caregivers.
All things good come from the Trinity.

What I remember the most from the skunk seeds I was given in 84 was that they were huge. Almost as big as a popcorn kernel. That and that my best friend got busted with a 6' plant with dinnerplate sized leaf. His neighbor called animal control to come look for a skunk.

Are the sk1 seeds still large in size?

This is a line that we've been working on for a little while until we got it right. The goal was to peel through as many afghani lines as we possibly could until we found a true Acrid, ammonia line. From there we wanted to take it to a special skunk smelling line. We went through the Herat, Kandahari, 3 types of Mazar (one was a good candidate but not enough resin), old LA Affie S1s, Afghani #1, and so on. After a lot of hunting we found a female phenotype in a line that was pure acrid ammonia... with a shitload of Skunk Spray. That smell that I often confuse for reall danky weed or if someone ran over a skunk. I haven't seen or smelled this since my early teens in this pure form. It's a short squat Afghani with strong stem structure and MASSIVE density, so if you're growing outdoors in humidity, I'd avoid this line - it's as dense as any cookies or bubba lines. It's a 8-9 weeker, some will take it at 51 days depending on the system. I have never, ever put the term Roaskill on anything because I've wanted to wait until I could deliver something reliable and sexually stable. So here she is, Roadkill Afghani.
Also - the RESIN profile is out of fucking sight. It is the creme de la creme of afghanis and hashplants.

Afghani Heirloom

(Afghani Dominant Line from the Late 80’s – Early 90s)

This is the only time I’m going to offer S1s of my Skunk Spray Afghani cut – the reason being is that this special lady needs to be backed up in several peoples hands and the S1s offer a chance to hit that pheno much more regularly than the F1 and F1R Hybrids. This is the pure, unadulterated Afghani line that smells like Skunk Spray, Burnt Rubber and Ammonia. She is the long lost cut. It took between several of us over a decade to relocate this exact phenotype, I just happened to be the fortunate one who popped the seeds, however this isn’t due to any breeding or crossing. It’s this dank on its own. Massively resinous and density second to none. Moderate yields, finishes in 8-9 weeks depending where ya like it. When dialed in, you can throw this bud at a wall and it will stick to it (as long as it isn’t stucco).

Where and when can they be acquired?
When I find one worthy, will ask Gypsy where the best place is to list those for you,
Until then and if anything happens along the way, hopefully the #Train crew has all they need to repair the cave in on tunnel #1

Skunk#1 was the ultimate strain for breeders and smokers.
I think Sam would be pleased to know we reworked it to its former glory and when we smoke we remember him.
An those others who helped to make it possible

Arjan: "Ingemar (De Sjamaan) invented WW already in 1987. [...] It was called Arnhem’s Wonder and already won the first HL cup in 1989. [...] For those who don’t believe this, please call Coffeeshop Catweazel or Roger from the grow shop; they worked with Ingmar for a long time. Roger has always sold the clones he had. He had a famous grow shop in Nijmegen. I bought the male and female among other plants in 1992 and only crossed them in 1994. I did not have to do any breading on the White Widow at that time because Ingemar had already done it for us.
And to this day you can still buy original clones of the White Widow in that area of Holland."

You think it likely they used the sativa (Manga Rosa) or the (S. Indian Indica) as the sire ?
I grew out seedsman WW and it was very obvious to me what happened, theres still a few others to try REG seed etc ...

SamS said the decline of skunk was due to poor male selection, it was worked to the AG side ?
Maybe the lumbo side is better in retrospect
If the man said you need to grow 1000 x 1000 = 10000 and find 10 keepers then you know the triploid came in at 1:1000 in a 3way hybrid
If its 40% better than the other 999 would you look for it ? Clone it ? Share it ?

Effects: The effects of this varietal are almost unparalleled, especially in today’s market. It is a soaring and euphoric sativa , and does not sacrifice the slightest bit of potency. In fact, it may be one of the most potent sativas available. The only comparable sativas I can think of are Neville’s Haze (the father of this variety), pure Thai, and the occasional and truly exceptional batch of Jack Herer or Mother’s Finest. The effect is overall racing, cerebral, paranoid, and almost psychedelic. Sometimes after smoking this herb, I have visual light tracing effects. There is a near instant shift in how one thinks, as one begins to associate concepts and ideas that are only loosely related—definitely a creativity-inducer! The effects onset immediately, but do not fully come on for at least 20 minutes, but usually even longer. One is high almost instantly when smoking this herb, but the near-overwhelming potency and paranoia will not kick in for about half an hour—which means care should be taken when using this flower! This can be very fun smoke when taken in the right setting, but can also be an anxiety-inducing smoke when used in the wrong one. With friends, this herb makes me silly, giggly, and probably drops me a few IQ points. It can really loosen up a mood. However, this is not active and motivational smoke, despite being a sativa—when I have smoked this cannabis prior to engaging in my “to-do” list, my list usually does not get done. If I go to a public space, I am generally overwhelmed with anxiety and a feeling that everybody is watching, or at least judging me. It is a general social dysphoria, and can come on with little or no warning. If you are immune to these effects in cannabis as some of my friends have claimed, I would strongly encourage sampling this flower—it might give you an experience you’ll never forget! If the reader enjoys horror movies, they could probably forget Netflix for a night, and simply smoke some of this varietal before running errands. Terrifying indeed!

Terpenoid profile imparts an acrid or “skunky” aroma,
and uniquely expresses sesquiterpene alcohols, such as guaiol, γ-eudesmol, β-eudesmol,
and the monoterpene alcohol nerolidol, as well as hydroxylated terpenoids, such as γ-elemene, a-terpineol, and β-fenchol.

Many thiols have strong odors resembling that of garlic. The odors of thiols, particularly those of low molecular weight, are often strong and repulsive. The spray of skunks consists mainly of low-molecular-weight thiols and derivatives.[11][12][13][14][15] These compounds are detectable by the human nose at concentrations of only 10 parts per billion.[16] Human sweat contains (R)/(S)-3-methyl-3-sulfanylhexan-1-ol (3M3SH), detectable at 2 parts per billion and having an onion-like (S enantiomer) and fruity, grapefruit-like odor (R enantiomer).[17] (Methylthio)methanethiol (MeSCH2SH; MTMT) is a strong-smelling volatile thiol, also detectable at parts per billion levels, found in male mouse urine. Lawrence C. Katz and co-workers showed that MTMT functioned as a semiochemical, activating certain mouse olfactory sensory neurons, and attracting female mice.[18] Copper has been shown to be required by a specific mouse olfactory receptor, MOR244-3, which is highly responsive to MTMT as well as to various other thiols and related compounds.[19] A human olfactory receptor, OR2T11, has been identified which, in the presence of copper, is highly responsive to the gas odorants (see below) ethanethiol and t-butyl mercaptan as well as other low molecular weight thiols, including allyl mercaptan found in human garlic breath, and the strong-smelling cyclic sulfide thietane.[20]

Thiols are also responsible for a class of wine faults caused by an unintended reaction between sulfur and yeast and the "skunky" odor of beer that has been exposed to ultraviolet light.

Not all thiols have unpleasant odors. For example, furan-2-ylmethanethiol contributes to the aroma of roasted coffee, whereas grapefruit mercaptan, a monoterpenoid thiol, is responsible for the characteristic scent of grapefruit. The effect of the latter compound is present only at low concentrations. The pure mercaptan has an unpleasant odor.

In the United States, natural gas distributors were required to add thiols, originally ethanethiol, to natural gas (which is naturally odorless) after the deadly New London School explosion in New London, Texas, in 1937. Many gas distributors were odorizing gas prior to this event. Most currently-used gas odorants contain mixtures of mercaptans and sulfides, with t-butyl mercaptan as the main odor constituent in natural gas and ethanethiol in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG, propane).[21] In situations where thiols are used in commercial industry, such as liquid petroleum gas tankers and bulk handling systems, an oxidizing catalyst is used to destroy the odor. A copper-based oxidation catalyst neutralizes the volatile thiols and transforms them into inert products.
