BRNEYDBVR said:I'm not mechanic but I would guess that your pressure plate is rubbing on the flywheel. Take it to the Toyota dealership. Expensive, but they'll fix it correctly....also, is it still under warranty?
I remember the thread that you put up when you were considering buying the toyota... everybody told you not to, and look what you went and bought. You and your dogs are hardheaded.
Although Toyota's are extremely reliable....they are also expensive to fix when they do break.
I say stick with what you know.......the Z71!

yeah its got warrent for like 70,000 miles or 10 years...sum crazy shit like that.
i miss the Z71 GMC, but it had its drawbacks as it was only a reg. cab step side short bed.
but it could throw down in the backwoods w/ its studded mud tires.
oh my god it could go where no truk could
NOKUY said:browndirtwarrior would have been proud of that truk!
BRNEYDBVR said:That's EXACTLY who I was thinking about when I wrote that!!!!
His "warrior wagon" is a 70's model I believe, but that truck is bad ass!!!
He had a different one in the earlier videos.....a tan/beige truck, but it was serious business too!
NOKUY said:i read that reply and tho i dont drink usually ....my girl handed me a HUGE shot...od so-co.
this is a good memorial day weekend!
browndirts truk was/is an early 70's blazer
i dont think they make a better vehicle today.
KnightShield said:sounds stupid but just in case i would check the clutch fluid resevoir. maybe a blockage or cleaning with new fluid might help. try a good clutch bleeding that will help it engage and disengage properly..
but my guess to the chirp is metal on metal, t/o bearing
also linkage should be checked out. does it let off at the top of pedal or bottom..maybe adjustment as mentioned.
i had the bands go in my last ride and since i was in there i replaced with spec stage 1 clutch kit and new slave solenoid.

Classyathome said:I also chirp when I'm not depressed...
KnightShield said:well just in case, normally u would not hear a typical bearing noise, sometimes it can seize and cause further damage. But being a new ride and all i would not think that would happen so soon. let us know how it goes if you get her fixed up.
