so I'm driving home from Bemidji along a very dangerous roadway, the shoulder of the road is so narrow that if you broke down at least 6 or 7 feet of your cars width would still be in the travel lane, the shoulder is less than 3 feet wide. just beyond the shoulder is water, only a couple of feet deep but nothing ever gets out of it without a flatbed tow truck.
anyways, as I came over a rise in the roadway I could see the car that was coming at me was all over the road, I locked up my brakes and waited to see if it would impact me, there's nowhere to go to try to avoid another car, the fucker drove right across my lane and kept on going, right in the drink. a huge splash of water and a shitload of steam rising from the hot engine.
I pulled up next to the car and shone my flashlight inside it, there were 2 guys in the front seat doing their best to ignore me, I avoided asking the obvious question "do you guys need help???" and one of them began texting, probably to get a rescue ride out of there before the law showed up.
oddly enough the next car to pull up about a minute later was a Koochiching county deputy, lol, what luck, sheriff's response time is notoriously 30-45 minutes to that rural part of the county; but because it was 2:05am (bar close @ 1:00am) the roads have extra patrolmen out on them, that fuckers getting a dui that he deserves, had I been 10 seconds (500-600 feet) closer to him we likely would have tangled.

Who would have ever thought? I find as I am getting older I don't need as much to get just as stoned, just as often. I've struggled with tolerance for years. At my worst I was smoking on average 5 joints a day, that was just a few years ago. Here lately I'm still smoking every day but I'm only using one joint worth of weed rather then 5. I'm taking small single hits off of bowls or with a bong and still getting as high as smoking a whole joint.
It's not that the smoke is so great, when I was doing 5 joints a day was when I had C-99. I'd say the stuff I've grown recently is at about the same level in potency. I thought at first it was from having gone thru a long dry spell last year. That could explain why I need so much less but usually the tolerance changes quickly and you end up smoking as much or more then before. It's been about 9 months since that dry spell ended and I've been smoking pretty much daily, multiple times a day. Each time I get pretty stoned, like usual just using about 80% less.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Who wouldn't want to only smoke 1/5th their normal amount and still get just as high? I guess it does go to show though, just how wasteful joints can be, I figure that accounts for some of the difference since now I'm smoking mostly out of bowls and a bong? Oddly enough I would still say joints are my preferred method of smoking due to portability.

i dunno, when i was a kid smoking weed was wild (i was not).
never could get much. after a few years someone gave me a brownie and was immobilised, everythnig as wild as acid.
but nowadays, i'm wild. my head isn't full of stupid civilisation making me a moron any more, so when i smoke weed, even after a break, i wouldn't call it psychedelic any more. it's like, there are no deep prints, because there's no snow on top of the ground.
like half of a tiny "cover the screen" bowl is enough to "release tensions" or nullify my reactivity to irritation. if i smoke another bowl i may get a bit of extra "face", but that's not too far up from zero and i haven't found that going over it ever gets me anywhere else. course i live on a trickle and rarely have chances to indulge even in like an extra two bowls, but i usually feel like the next bowl is best kept for another moment. ima try it when i can tho. maybe i've forgot what it's like.
