I wish I could buy an island, be it a smaller one, from the state. I would be willing to defend it with my life, and would be willing to follow international laws. As long as I would be free from involuntary taxation and code laws.

you are supposed to pull out ALL the reproductive bits and dry the flower petals.
i roll a big joint with a half/half mixture of herb and flower petals.
they are supposed to be hallucinogenic but i think you have to smoke much more than a fatty for this.
it is actually helps you to see the 'truths' of a situation more clearly, similar to Salvia divinarum only not as intense.

*seeds can kill you and this includes all the lady bits

crap is is early morning and i already had to look up how to spell 2 words. this is too much like work.
speaking of work. got to go......have a good one-

ye we usually make tea but i have never had the fly agaric before.

these mushrooms are how the story of Alice in wonderland were written. they distort size making things seem like giants or like little people :)

That poisoning thing is my big issue with wild shrooms. Morels are very distinctive and very delicious though.

I have seen dedicated threads etc. and know about shoomery.com, but I always I always think you've got to be really dedicated with all that and it has a really steep learning curve. I also am fairly confident a lot of those people make themselves sick pursuing their hobby. Maybe I'm just a wimp about all that but 'better safe than sorry' I say.

Apparently it is fairly easy to order the spores on-line and setup a simple growing medium to for magic mushrooms that have a lot of that psilocybin, and THAT seems safe. I have also read if you know where a farmer dumps his barn waste or piles of cow shit, that is likely a hot-spot to find shrooms.

this is a ritual that the irish pagan monks did with the Fly Agraic

The most common way that this mushroom was eaten was when it had been dried. The Druid or Druids fasted for at least 3 days, drinking only water although sometimes small amounts of purifying herbs may also be taken and meditating before consumption of the fungi. This was done for a number of reasons, not only to purify the mind but also it purified the body because the body acts in a strange way to this fungi. When consumed the body removes the Mind-Expanding substances before the poison. So the Psychedelic is in the body before it starts to react to the poison. This reaction is violent stomach emptying as the body rejects what's left of the mushroom before it absorbs any more of the poison. The Druids were well prepared for this sickness as it was part of taking the fungi. After the poison is rejected the Psychedelic starts to act, this is when the second reason for body purity was needed as the first urine expelled after consumption is nearly all Psychedelic and this was either consumed at the time to give full effect of the fungi or stored for a later ritual. It was also used in many of their Beverages or Potions. This may sound a bit sick to some but with the 3 day fast and only water going in, only water was coming out.

There is a field near my house, which I'm told is full of Libs in the autumn. The trouble is, it is right next to the road, has a pub backing right onto it and houses on the other side of the road.
They used to grow on the rec my grandad would take me to play cricket when I was little, but once they made them class A, the council started spraying fungicide on all the land it owned where Libs were known to grow.

i couldn't pull up that link GG but you give a good explantion of why people have such violent reactions to these Ethnobotanic plants like payote and fly agraic.

i am not ashamed to admit that i thought i would go off my guts with those Trumpet Flowers but it was very subtle.

i am also not ashamed to admit that those pretty red polka dot mushrooms scare the bejeezus out of me. :gaga:

we learn from facing our fears, so i think some things are worth exploring further.;)
