still love the smell of ciggy smoke even after giving up.
it's beef/sausage meatballs & 3 nice size stuffed mushroom caps.
I always buy my white mushrooms whole although 95% of the time I slice them to be sauteed, tonight was in that 5%, some fresh shallot, straight sausage, herbs & topped w/buttered breadcrumbs.

good news mate, hard work ah so is growing.
1979, my wife is visiting my folks with me, the family poodle that was missing me badly was hogging my attention, I started telling Sassy in a soothing voice "oh, yes, (dogs love yes) you're my sweet Sassy girl, yes I love you too, and so on..."
suddenly that bitch (my wife) is glaring @ me, she'd taken offense to the way I was, and what I was saying to my dog, she starts muttering her discontent; I couldn't believe what I was hearing, her argument was invalid, I sent her roses @ work, I came right home daily after commuting up from NYC (we lived in Yonkers), and I romanced her every chance I got
I know I treat my dogs well but I had to seriously consider that she actually wanted to be treated like a dog herself.
