Transferred another 165 gallons of #1 heating oil (equivalency of kerosene) into the main tank this evening.

Youngest boy let some young bimbo drive his vehicle on an unplowed, narrow, winding road known for blind hills and curves. The bimbo in reference is the daughter of a former high-ranking LEO, but no longer; mom was asked for her resignation letter over a year ago.

For whatever reason my younger son wanted me to believe the driver's mother was still in her former LEO position. miscommunication with his friend? Fibs by he or the friend? or maybe wanting me to feel intimidated? If it was/is the latter, then he wasted the opportunity to get to know me when he was here for 18 years. It takes a bit more to intimidate me... usually.

Anyway, they careened around an unplowed corner, brakes locked up, and had a head-on with a smaller, import automobile, with my son's early 1990s SUV (steel) sliding around a corner at 38 mph, and directly into the front end of the oncoming vehicle.... the one that managed to more or less remain where the fuck they belonged on the roadway. Unlike my son's ve4hicle, which was NOT where it belonged.

So, the equivalent of about a 60mph impact. Both he and the bimbo received concussions, but because he's chosen the adolescent path of being "10-feet tall and bullet-proof", and cancelling his health insurance, neither he or his passenger were assessed by a medical professional.

"Stupid is as stupid does."

He's still got my freighter snowmobile, and we're now waiting on new, new parts, as the manufacturer sent us a previously installed (1x? or older?) CDI/electronic box/ECM for the thing..... but at full price, of course.

Most recent PSA is at .4. Not good, certainly not great, but it could be worse, too.

A puff of Gogi OG #8 and a THC-A extract capsule, and time to go stare at the ceiling again.

Snow behind the recently shed barn roof is now about 8 ft. deep, standing in giant chunks. That will need cleared to open up access to the barn's north drive-through for the snowmobiles, as well as the grills needing dug out, the walk-in fish smoker will need accessed, and the freight sleds stacked under a tarp out by the old outhouse will all need more snow removal in order to be made available. I have to be able to smoke and grill foods for those who are helping with some of the mechanical efforts here, and without the freight sleds, I won't be able to do ANY of the trips in the works at the moment.

I don't have any 730nm... £1 a Watt https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002425680485.html

I actually use QB's and QB's have both in and out terminals. Thus, I have a 48v source at my light heads, I really just need a 48v strip to plug in.

So far, I have found 730s to like quite low voltage. I would want 20-24 in a row. Likely 1w each, given what's available. That's quite a share of the QB's 120w. I might need more than 24, just to dim it down.
Boards are cheap and various. Just a couple of quid, unpopulated https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003466956006.html
LED's a little harder to source.

LOL. Great Blue heron , also known as a "Shitpoke" around here.
I worked with a guy who lived near a swampy area. He had a black roof and the herons would perch on his TV antenna making quite the mess. Game warden didn't like his remedy. The are pretty common around here anymore. 30 years ago you hardly saw them.

Sitting at the PC. Gotta say something. Head's full of shit tho'. There's years of shit in there now.

Thought I 'd be famous or if not, rich. But it all fucked up. And now I 'm sitting here at the PC trying to find something interesting to communicate from all the shit in my head.

Thought I 'd be rich and famous but all I 've got is these boring fukn memories.

They keep on going round and round ...

I'm on my at least 4th life from close calls so far. Must be destined for something.......

Stopping a foot short of the RR tracks as a Amtrak approaching at about 70 mph in a Festiva was the worst.

alaska did it's best to kill me at least once a year for the 12 years i was up there...on top of 20 years of rock climbing and 10 years of bike commuting
