The choices we make
Map the roads we take
The rewards we rake

I'm pretty high, got up at like 10am. Going to the zoo tomorrow. Have to take 2 city buses to get my weed on Friday. Or I could stretch it out another week and get a ride. What's everyone else up to? It's been rainy here in Boston and in the 70's but it'll go back up to the 90's. 4th of July this Saturday!

zero turn lawn mower today , from

How much is a 2020 Corvette cost?
GM delivered on its promise of a starting base price of less than $60,000 with the base LT1 2020 Corvette Stingray coming in at $59,995 including $1,095 delivery. That figure is about $4,000 higher than the current model's starting price of $55,900.

:wtf:

Two city buses? Thought your mom bought you a bike. D)
I did get a new bike! A Bianchi Cortina. It's pretty awesome. I'm too lazy to ride all the way to my dealer's. I used to do it. Going to the zoo today! It's pretty hot out.
Edit: zoo got cancelled

Chicken shit and a lot of rain will make the grass grow fast.

Whoulda thunk? My 60" Gravely 260 zero turn mower was $9.3K new last spring, they are $11.6 now. It don't play, as long as the blades are sharp. Nice squishy seat. I will be on it for several hours again today, all cookied up.

Edit, a twofer... a day later (I am still out mowing BTW)...

I have gourds up for Purple Martins which migrate from South America for the summer to nest. Today there were two "jumpers", which are little baby birds not quite ready to fledge yet, on the ground under the racks. The gourds are about 10' up on tee racks, and it is mowed grass lawn underneath. It is now the hottest part of a near 100*F day.

Earlier, I was able to identify which gourd one baby had jumped from, and put him back. That was cause I picked him up, and soothed his screaming and yelling ass by stroking his back. That settlers them right down. I set him on the porch edge, shady and safe. Momma and daddy came over across the lawn to check things out, and I was able to deduce which gourd did not have a bird on it while observing from inside the house.

Second bird was under a tree in grass at the base too close to mow. I saw his daddy feed him, which is how his cover was blown. He went up into the little 4' tree and after a few hours in that heat I checked on him. He looked parched and baked. So I gathered him up, stroked and soothed, brought him inside and sprayed a mist of water on him. He was happy as a clam in my hand but typing one handed is a pain... I'll let him out in a few hours when it cools down.

So the trippy thought is, typing a message with a little Purple Martin resting on my lap.

The summer birds eat the flying insects, which makes being outside very tolerable. Until the sun goes down, when they light in their nests for the night.

Reveg experiment I have been undertaking....screw in LEDs keeping an April flowering cultivar alive ....I pruned all top flowers and allowed the smaller areas to reveg......she might make it to a yr old at this rate. Rosie basil and some lighter green local pollen Chuck I did.....apparently they are heavy feeders.
