TOTALLY RANDOM POST II

How hot can I get a tub of hot water, and how cold can I make a cold glass of pink grape fruit juice, that I have in mind.

I wouldn't recommend much hotter than 125 f. for the tub, if you were feeling really healthy, and the grapefruit juice probably won't be too drinkable below 31 f., unless it has some salt content in it.

Liard River Hot Springs, in Northern British Columbia, many years ago, was supposed to be about 123 f at the hot end, and that was pretty toasty.

I keep my hot water tempering tank set to 144 f. but that's much hotter than most persons keep their tanks.

Grapefruit juice sounds good, Gry. Used to drink a lot of pink grapefruit juice, but can't drink it any more if it has any sugar added, and if it's pure grapefruit juice with no sugar added, I still have to (try to) stay conscious of the carbohydrate count .

Happy Father's Day to all here with kids/pets. Not those assholes who go around impregnating every woman they spend more than 30 seconds with & then dodging any parental responsibility. Just the fathers who father. Those guys are Fathers. And those with fur children. They count too (obviously).

Solve this dilemma;

Weed is $35 per 1/8th at legal store vs $120 per oz "illegal" home delivery.

My Mrs. is NOT happy about spending money on weed, but has decided that the expensive option is the only one she's OK with. Also not OK w/ growing in my house, hence my setup at Dad's place.

Problem?

Where do I keep my balls, now that they aren't in use anymore?

Might be rhetorical question, probably not.

Doubt it's about the pot.

Would it be appropriate to ask you what you were doing the past 40 years?

Just watching?

You write some good shit and have some good points - all original - except that one.

That mediocrity is your generations' legacy. You chose that, no middle class - not American, anyways - share value over actual, and credit instead of a strong dollar.

I'm in my late thirties. Do you have any idea what it's like to have generations of children bookending you?

The previous is untested, broke, not self-aware, and never matured. The succeeding is...great. Except that they're saddled by debt and corporations the guiding lights of your generation created.

That's on top what's happened to the family and workplace structures.

Sorry your eggs sucked. Your SS check was on time, though, right?

time travel...if it was possible (Einstein said it was, but only backwards) and you went back, how old would you be when you arrived? IE - if you went back to a time before you were born, would you go "poof" and disappear? is this the key to immortality? get to your 50s or 60s, THEN go back to your 20s? hmmm...:tiphat: yeah, i'm high.:dance013:

My bro will be in town in T-Minus 8 hours. Its either going to go very good or very bad. I hope he's doing better up in the noggin. Either way, I'm excited to celebrate the 4th and wish all of my friends here a happy holiday.

I set my new over-sized camp cot up in the living room. Been busy, so it's still there. The German Shepherd friend of mine thinks I got her a new bed... Story of my life.

Tonight was my 60th birthday; born dead the morning of July 5th, with the cord wrapped around my neck, then revived by a French Philippine Doc, whose first name became my middle name, likely as a statement of gratitude by my now-deceased parents...

I initially left home 47 years ago, sticking my thumb out for the first time on the Interstates back then, discovering all kinds of magic at that time..
----------------------------------------------------------
My younger son took my wife and I out to dinner tonight; bought me a 16 oz. rib-eye steak, barely rare, the way I like 'em, still mooing, with the imagined sound of the tail swishing flies away from her sides, a 9% German doppelbock, 16.9 oz. beer, and an 11.2 oz. Belgian dark ale, advertised at 11%, but it was also 9%. Gave the smoked 7.5% doppelbock German beer in between to my wife. It was tasty, but smoking's for fish in my 'hood.

My son drove us home, so I got to sit in the back seat (never did that before in any of our current automobiles), and yell at inattentive drivers through the moon roof, while in control of the handgun; never know when you might run into hostiles. And I didn't want anyone up front, lacking the benefit of mood-altering depressants, to have access to such potentially destructive forces.

Now it's time to unwind, smoke a joint of lemonado, or maybe some hash, prevent myself from puking (a major difference between intoxication from alcohol, versus reefer; I've rarely puked from reefer), and contemplate the fact that I'm now of age for a free, rest-of-my-life, Alaska hunting, fishing, and trapping license. I'll get that taken care of on Monday. Maybe.
