Torrent Alert!

Now that we got your attention ;-)

For a kick off. We do not and will never rar or zip or any other thing our files
inside a TUS torrent. You should see 5/6 files, nothing more. a bin, cue and mpg. Our
nfo, burning instructions and demonoids nfo. These fucking numbcunts trying to get good
citizens to download rar files and the like with the TUS name on them are fucking
stupid.

But however, for the new to kvcd users, steer clear of rar'd files, there's a lot of
shite out there that'll only cause you upset.

Bitroll is a new bittorrent client thats just recently shown it's ugly face, which is
forcing people to install it in order to get access to passworded torrent files, however
Bitroll is a trojan virus.

Do NOT install this under any circumstances. If you have downloaded a passworded file,
Delete it. Just imagine how upset you will be when your computer is infected with this
virus and you find out the torrent password doesn't even work.

If you were daft enough to try and search for the password and use the Bitroll client
then this link may help you - http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=89113 -
to remove it.

TUS torrents are tracked by Demonoid & Sladinki's tracker solely. Anything other than
those two trackers you can download at your own risk but we lay no claim to them what
so ever. Even if they are a re-seed by someone on another tracker, that is their doing,
not ours. We recommend you stick to well known trackers like the two mentioned above.
If in doubt on a TUS torrent, check the forum at - http://www.tus-kvcd-group.com - if
isn't on the forum, it aint a TUS torrent.

BitRoll BitTorrent Client Installs Malware

Watch out for a new Windows BitTorrent client called BitRoll. Users are reporting that
it installs malware on their PCs and creates pop-up ads whenever they open their browsers.

When you visit the BitRoll site (better left unlinked), after a few seconds, it
automatically redirects you to the download page. The download page is filled with fake
positive remarks about the client. It also claims that BitRoll has been “rated as the most
popular BitTorrent client.” Clicking anywhere on the download page will cause BitRoll to
be downloaded to your computer.

Firefox is not affected by the pop-up ads, but a user on the mininova forums has confirmed
that Internet Explorer is.

Most people who have downloaded and installed BitRoll have done so to get a password for a
RAR file in a torrent they have downloaded. These torrents are fakes. The text file that
these torrents contain instructs users to download and install BitRoll in order to unlock
the RARs. A bootleg copy of Casino Royal is one of many such fake torrents.

Casino Royale (2006) PuKKa TELECiNE KvCD by Hockney(TUS Release).rar.torrent

The malware bundled with BitRoll is a sponsor program called “Cidhelp”. Apparently, it can
be easily removed from the Windows Control Panel. As long as your anti-spyware or
anti-virus program has not damaged any of its files, it will be removed when you uninstall
it. The same goes for BitRoll.

There are posts on the mininova and Slyck forums about BitRoll, warning people to stay
away from the site and not to download the client.

The grammatical errors on the site tell us that BitRoll isn’t developed in the United
States or any other English speaking country.

The purpose of BitRoll is giving users a great BitTorrent client that is extremely
simple, easy to use and get started with. We prefer less features that actually works and
a great user interface.

We believe that everyone should be able to use the torrent technology without having
to be computer experts!

Happy rolling!

RIAA and/or punk fuckers like SONY-BMG are prolly to blame for progs like this. Old farts stand in the way of new tech to keep the cash flowing in their pockets. Most movies/music/tv crap is not worth yer cash. And even if it is, u should download it for free first and then decide if it was worth yer hard earned money. That's what i think.

I can smell a fake torrent a mile away. Usually most these torrent sites are on top of things lately and these fake torrents don't last long and are nuked.

I noticed Emule has alot more viruses floating around on it. They hide them in obscure things like game cracks.

Thats what I love about torrents, it sorts the good out from the bad and if I like it, I'll buy it.

Imo if your dumb enough to download crap without checking out the comments left [ like at torrentspy ] then you deserve what you get. At least there you'll also find out the passwords on most the rar'ed crap anyways.

Next best thing you can do is update your peerguardian and always use it to block the crap data turds.

BitTornado is my default downer cause I like to throttle tweek to increase my speeds. I use Azureus for the other ones that typically get blocked with BT. [ Block me nerdle? Meet the blue frog.]

Thanks for the info leaddraft... picked up a few suspect torrents in my time.

I bin using bitlord in the past but someone tells me its a bandwidth stealer or summit... but I think it is what we call hammering ... continually trying to connect to other clients over and over again taking away their resources/bandwidth.

I go some new one which I am still getting used to. Missing a few things BL had. The one I am using is called uTorrent. Anyone heard/got opinion on this one?

i use it treble, its pretty good. Only thing is other day i tried to dl a version of 300 and suddenly got "New Tear" attacks on my comp. when i deleted the torrent they went away...but other than that once it works well/quick

I use Azureus. I used it when I was a Windows loser, now that Im a Linux user, I still use Azureus. It's the most feature filled client available and is totally open, free and frequently updated in a community way. Oh, and it works on any system that JRE runs on.

As far as getting spyware/malware installed... use Linux ;)

As far as RIAA/MPAA... well, thats a problem. My ISP already got an EMail from BayTSP (google it) because they caught me seeding Mission Impossible 3 (while using a PeerGuardian-like program for Linux with the most recent updates for blocklists from bluetack) - so it's one of those "The next time you do this..." dealies - however, that doesnt really bother me since most new movies coming out in the US are trash anyway. Foreign movies are mostly where it's at. And as far as music goes, Soulseek is STILL where it's at ;)

get yourself on a private tracker, the riaa/mpaa or whoever are very unlikely to be on there :)
