i'm covering my ass as much as possible, even if it means having to fuck with TOR and logging on repeatedly.

i'm not giving up evidence easily on myself.

plus we got some real PRICK, WANNA BE HEROES for cops in Amerika.





btw, this thread was NOT about security. it was about how TERRIBLY SLOW and FRUSTRATING TOR is at times, that's all

Ah yeah ok, Im not tuned in to what happens in GB. I think GB might even be worse than its counterparts. I read some shit about how they arrest internet trolls over there or something to that nature.

if you go through a SSL proxy, you ought to be very safe
it's not that the proxy company won't give you up, but SSL hacking is not a trivial exercise
now if you have a a megawatt style grow, then you have to worry, and not be posting here

Not any old internet troll, it was a lad on facebook, using his real identity to laugh at people who get paid to go and kill people ie the army bods, getting killed themselves. There were complaints made against him and he was made an example of. I have mixed feelings about the incident but it certainly wasn't a case of him getting traced via his internet connection.

If they wanna bust you over something you post on the net, the only thing that can save you is not posting on the net.....if LEO wants you, tor or not, proxy or not, they can find you....cops don't sit in the jailhouse looking up IPs, they hire out contractors who can find you behind any wall your hiding behind....trust that folks.....don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.....tor and proxies are there to make you feel safe and will only serve that purpose, make you feel.....I wish more people would understand this.
Do some research....talk to some tech savy people who work in that field,....if they wanna find you they will find you...
If posting on a canna site scares you then your best bet is to quit posting. It's that simple. Just remember also, LEO is always a step ahead of us when it comes to technology....they have toys that most tech masters don't even have yet. But like mentioned above, they aren't going after the little tent grower who moves a few bags every month.....they want the grower who rents a house to grow and profits enough to not have a day job.....
It really never amazes me at what lengths people will go to "hide".......to each his own and if it makes you feel safe then by all means do it. Comfort is worth it's weight in gold but its false comfort.

I pay for a virtual private network. The Company I use is called Private Internet Access. The reason I chose them is that they rotate I.P.'s, and they don't log the i.p. of the person on their i.p. at the time they are on the i.p. Basically if they get served a warrant they have no way to see who was using that i.p. at that time. They are pretty fast as well. I pay for 1 account, but login simultaneously on 4 computers. 1 of the computers is my "download computer". I run 300-400gb a month through it, and never have a problem. I got it so that I can browse the internet, and download and my ISP can't see what I am doing.
