Top Ten Strains of 2006

There is a magazine called "Cannibis Culture" that is distributed in the US as well as Canada, keep an eye out for it. It has much more in-depth growing articles, and they dont seem to be so commercial like HT is now. Check it out.

Everyone is always bagging on high times but if you notice in that same mag, some of our most esteemed collegues from this site submitted pics for all to enjoy. They(HT) were doin this thing we are doin online when there wasn't any online to do anything with. So please lets give them some props. cause when there was no online everybody hating on that same mag was learning shit about growing from it!!!Whether they admit it or not. Their list is like all things - subjective and a matter of opinion for all to debate. Why do folks hate cause it is "commercial"? How else would they stay in business? Cann. culture is in for the same thing - to sell mags! This site is commercial as well! Look at the top of the page and check out who is slangin seeds. Now ask yourself why only these vendors and breeders? $$$$$$$$ C.R.E.A.M!!!

cash rules everything around me word up rainman i can remember reading my first ht mag back in the day . man i was like damn any one can grow sick herb like this ! shit homie where do you think i got the idea.

I remember HT when I was a teenager in the late 70's early 80's and thought this was the coolest shit. So cool I ordered Mel Frank's grow guide from it and attempted to grow my first seeds. They spouted grew and got stolen ... I never grew again until I got married the second time and discovered the internet, OG and BOG ... the rest is history for me. I am not worthy to rate the top strains out today but one that brings back memories of dank is Rez's Apollo's Trip. Great high and taste.

I feel it is all subjective anyway. Who graded the list and what was the criteria for ratings? I am fond of alot of the stuff on their list but that again is just my opinion. The PK is everywhere in norcal and it is just the sweetest tasting, smooth smoken, pretty herb!I love this stuff right now!!! I am partial to the Willie N cause it is some green fire that does me in and a buddy has adopted it as his girlfriend for a for runs. i think in the end there are enough selections on the list to fill anyone's needs. Keep it crystally folks.....

Flintstoners: Where do you think I might possibly get some of that Black Russian?

To all: Where does one find one of those elite purple kush clones? Cali, I would guess. Which club?

we really don't know of a decent source these days . . . we were fortunate enough to build our seed collection over a number of years . . . and the Black Russian wasn't cheap . . . it was won at a very competetice open auction back when c-bay was still around . . .

our original intent was to make some Black Russian seeds . . . we'd talked to Nebu and got his permission to breed with them (he's pretty cool about that - if you buy em you can do what ya want with em) . . .

we found a couple of excellent babes . . . but we didn't really find a suitable male that we liked . . . so it's not a project that could be finished . . .

however . . . ya never know when a generous donor might show up on your doorstep . . . so keep hoping and looking . . . good things come to those who wait . . . .

we wish you luck in your search!

I've smoked the purple kush and it was killer weed but a very slow vegger so I passed on the cut. Definitely killer herb though. Chemdog D is very powerful, I can see why it's so high on the list. I do think Strawberry D could have been a lil higher but I haven't smoked most of the herbs listed so I can't judge. Very nice pot though (as I puff on a bowl).
