top of the heap to third world status in one generation

The UN has declared parts of the south to be third world living conditions inside of the US. Hookworms and open sewage... Yum.

LA county has more then 50,000 homeless living in tent cities and under bridges. The US has shanty towns and squats they are just hidden.
We police our poor and make then live on the run and stay hidden.

At least shoot a squirrel, couple doves, something with actual meat. Lol, I couldn't imagine trying to make a meal out of worms you'd at least need some Siracha.

Until I got used to it, I made a face like it tastes terrible, when they don't have much taste. Especially when you swallow them whole.

Just need 1/4 pound of worms and you get almost 1/4 pound of protein.

After you've done it, it's a non event.

I would say, in general, it's a good skill to have. In any kind of survival situation, low blood sugar and running out of food are what impair a person's ability to function & compete.

It's easier for me to eat earthworms than bugs.

With one exception - the ants that crawl on the cutting board in the kitchen and get washed into most dishes. They taste chemical-y.

Yeah, maybe even get a few rabbits, you can even snare a deer. Bullets are a lot quicker though and so many squirrels BB guns work.

Bow fishing is pretty cool too. The natives had a name for vegetarians "bad hunter".

Bow fishing does look like fun. Maybe some noodling also. Nice to diversify the fishing technique.

Vegetarians eat my foods , food.Damn greedy vegetarians eating all my steers grass.

Your food is what my food eats, lol.

Beetle larvae is better that earthworms,
crickets are plentiful and easy to keep for harvest.

Do what you gotta' do to survive.

Haha sorry Gypsy didn't mean to offend you. I guess we are just neanderthals here in Australia like in America. :frown: It's what you were brought up to like I guess. I've always been into AFL and rugby. I can't believe table tennis is above golf, baseball, basketball and NFL.

I think that its got a lot to do with the expense and simplicity of the tools you need for a certain sport.....

For FOOTBALL, all you need is a football, jumpers for goal posts and you are away...

You're right there. Football (soccer) seems to be very popular in less developed nations. All kids need is someone in the neighborhood to own a ball, they don't even need shoes.

Just being the most popular doesn't really mean it's the best. Like who the fuck thinks field hockey is better than ice hokey?? Do they really have professional field hockey? And cricket, I've never seen a cricket game on TV I have seen rugby, still no idea what cricket is. I will admit baseball is pretty stupid though fun to play.

But of course soccer is the most popular sport damn sure not the best sport, but it's great for little kids. Nobody wants to see a 7 year old with a concussion from playing grown ups football.

Shame boxing doesn't make the list I swear it was bigger than soccer at one point.

"The NFL's popularity is all the more remarkable when you inspect the fare it has to offer each week on television. An average professional football game lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes, but if you tally up the time when the ball is actually in play, the action amounts to a mere 11 minutes"

Over 100 commercials average for 11 minutes of total play. Torturous.

I wouldn't expect anyone who hasn't been to an actual soccer game to understand how lit that sh*t is.

I remember stocking up on tomaters at the mercado with my uncle to bring to my first pro soccer game in Guatemala when I was a tiny little kid.. The insanity that ensued.. hundred of tomatoes flying through the air simultaneously.. The energy that flows through those stands is truly a sight to behold. Poetry in motion. Never seen anything like it.

Theres a cricket documentary on netflix right now for anyone who doesn't get that either. Pretty fantastic.

I think cricket out numbers viewers of soccer,
but the money is definitely in soccer.

American football has cheerleaders to get you pumped.

Nothing like getting jazzed with hyper sexualized women,
and then watching men tackle each other.

Its like having an erection in the shower full of men,
what's the point.

Porn when in the end you just watch a guy self ejaculate on the woman.

Unseemly if you ask me.

A bit off topic, sorry.

lol.

I was thinking about the cricket thing being Australian. Yes cricket is played in Australia and the UK but there are less than 100 million people combined and only a small percentage watch cricket. I'm assuming the vast majority of fans are Indian and Pakistani. I mean there are over 1.3 billion people in India alone.

At least they don't make soccer-football players genuflect

in front of the blood-spattered American flag.

Do the British not have a national anthem that local sports teams stand for? The British do have a little darker of a history than America. I mean we never quartered anyone over religious beliefs. Lol, we also never made a law that the Scottish woman have to fuck American soldiers on their wedding night, that was the British....

I like our blood splattered flag, the only good communist is a dead communist.
