Cold? Maybe. Cynical? For sure. But we have one here ourselves so rest assured, our inbred population is no better. Our premier dougie - who has been caught twice trying to slide massive contracts to corporate buddies. And he is getting set to call a snap election - which he will win because he just gifted $200 to every taxpayer . . . supposedly to to help us with inflation . . . or maybe payola to get himself re-elected? Imagine . . . buying votes by giving us our own money back.

i've never understood the "justification" of taking away someones right to vote, unless they actually tried to destroy our nation. some states give the vote back to felons after they have served their prison sentence. why don't they ALL do that ? and as you point out, two states allow voting from prison. allowing states to revoke your right to vote is a legal hoax in my mind. what crime could one commit that is alleviated by not allowing that person to vote for his choice of representation, or on taxes where he lives, or etc. nonsensical gibberish at best. JMHO i can see not allowing someone with a violent crime not being allowed to buy or own weapons, but not voting? bullshit!

I understand the "justification" for the present voting system is a fraud and really just a violation of the right of peaceful self- determination of any disinterested people. Systems can't be based in initiatory violence and not destroy, rather than protect. peace.

People should be able to peacefully cooperate with those people that share an idea with them, but to vote on an idea that forces peaceful dissenters to comply is not a way to display equality or to advance peaceful relations.

I think votes which capture disinterested but otherwise peaceful people are acts of aggression which people have blindly accepted and should re-examine. It's a violence-based system laced with self contradiction for indoctrinated people.

I'm in favor of people that use guns to back their violent voting systems giving up their guns. It's bullshit !
