i've never understood the "justification" of taking away someones right to vote, unless they actually tried to destroy our nation. some states give the vote back to felons after they have served their prison sentence. why don't they ALL do that ? and as you point out, two states allow voting from prison. allowing states to revoke your right to vote is a legal hoax in my mind. what crime could one commit that is alleviated by not allowing that person to vote for his choice of representation, or on taxes where he lives, or etc. nonsensical gibberish at best. JMHO i can see not allowing someone with a violent crime not being allowed to buy or own weapons, but not voting? bullshit!![]()
