Top leaves curling in and under, I'm confused...

Today is day 20 I've had these plants, and day 2 of 12/12.
They're now under three 40w CFL's, two are 2700K one is 3000K. The bigger plant has been in its new pot with new soil (Miracle Grow Organic), the smaller one I transplanted last night. The last two times I've watered them (Last night, and 3 days before) I used distilled water with epsom salt (two teaspoons per gallon as recomended in another post when they were looking a lot worse), no nutrients or anything else.

The short plant looks like its enjoying its new home, it looks the best it's looked in a while, the taller one though looks OK considering space is kinda tight in my PC case (Working on getting another one going), but the top bunch of leaves are curled down and in. Could this be because they were too close to the light and maybe got too hot? I don't think its over-watering because the soil felt dry when I put my finger in last night and it had been 3 days, and since I watered last night I doubt its under-watering, any suggestions for me? Thanks!

using tap water will simplify the whole epsom salts thing, which could eventually lead to salt buildup and problems... however I think the problem lies with the fact that your soil looks like crap... first there is no perlite in it and you may be overwatering them because of this... get some peat based soil and mix perlite at 1/3 of volume... repot
