Everything else was a big big dissapointment and i guess thats the rule if you are used to a certain quality(and i dont determine quality on how hard a bud hits)since you grow your own at home....as often statedne can find world class herb and hash in the Dam,you just gotta know where but im gettin off topic here..to sum it up: Amsterdam is a unique place to this earth worth every cent you spend there,and that only for the atmosphere wich is unbeatable(if you are not a rude and ignorant asshole).

The Nepalese Temple Balls will wreck your day. Spent allot of time at the Bulldog and others that are lost in the haze. Id love to go back and do it right. I didnt know shit about genetics and the whole scence at the time.

Supposedly a now lost true breeding land race Sat/Indi hybrid from Nam. The genetics are still around in crosses though.

Thats good to know. I remember it had won a Cannabis Cup that year but wasnt sure if I was gettin the real deal.

Soon as I stepped off the train I met a Canadian who said he came ten before ago and never left. Even back then he said the Grasshopper was for tourists and suggested the Picasso. The GH was right by my hotel so I ended up going there anyhow.

I know a guy running Kali Mist locally now and it's nothing like I remember although he obviously cut early and didnt flush or cure.

Only ever spent 2 days in Amsterdam, bought two strains on day 1...smoked half of each and left the rest for the Inn Keepers. Best bud I smoked was a joint at the bar passed down the line. Don't know what it was, but I needed another few dark beers to settle me. Good times...

Most defineately the arjans ultra haze #1 in '07 from greenhouse. Grey areas sweet haze was amazing also Barney g13 haze was stoopid! In '09 when I went it was a tie between greenhouses hawaiin snow and the green place's headband. Can't wait to go back next year

Just came back last week
After trying 62 different strains I can tell that the best are

1. Chocolope (Dampking)
2. Vanilla Kush (Barneys)
3. Red Diesel (Barneys)
4. Dr. Grinspoon (Barneys)
5. Cheese / Blue Cheese (Dampking/Hunters)

Also some hashes were good, like Templeball, Super Tbzila, 73u Resin Gold and Royal Jelly (IMO not that special)

2. Sour Diesel (Rokery)

The Red Diesel from Barneys I had was crap. I must have had bad luck, cause you liked it very much and 2 other people mentioned it in this thread before....
