NICE... I was considering starting a similar thread last night but it's such a subjective topic...
Should be fun.
In no particular order:
DJ Short (my fav.)
Sam Skunkman (I've never grown anything of his, however)
Nevil Shooenmaker (sp?), individually & with Shanti (Haze masters)
Personal grower/chuckers (talk about uniqueness)
Chimera (had good times w a BB Sat)

Ace Seeds - dubi ( i´ve been told charlie Garcia bred all ACE´s seeds too, but since i´m a big ACE fan, i´m gonna keep Dubi´s name on the list.....but if I must replace this in order to have 5 breeders.... i´d add DJ Short, or Chimera.... Chimera has some serious skils.... i´ve also had grate results with paradise seeds, and serious seeds )

Indeed!! Like actors when asked what is their favorit film they acted in, several say, "The Next One!". Same....many good strains/breeders out there. Cannot peg one as the one and only.

Almost have to split it up into catagories and its still too hard. We live in a nice time for herb and I feel its only getting better. We can get pretty much any kind of genetics we desire within reason. THE FREEBEES THESE DAYS WOW! Private breeders are on the rise.

I really don't know who is the best of all time but few gardens on earth dont have genetics from the names on this list.
Seeds every where! Not to mension all the clones floating around.
To pick five would be really hard at this point. But if I got a fat stash of beans from any five guys it would Look like this.
My picks:
ACE/CBG
Kanga/Bushweed
Nevil/Shanti
Chimera
Loompa
I think with these guys I could have every base covered. I reall would love to add Bodhi, Docta, Karma, Reef, Escobar to make a top 10.
I would say if I had to pick one breeder that checks all the boxes and gives the biggest amount of options it would be Bodhi hands down.
