Ok, clones not looking so good, so I Just got a new seedling heating mat and a digital temp controller. It has a probe in it and stuck it in the coco. Set it to 80, and says it is 79 in the cup. I dont think they will make it, but thats ok. The conditions were not perfect, now they are. So the next round will do perfect, I have faith. Temps were 2 low at first, 2 much light at first, and they wilted really fast!
I was wondering though. Does eveyone clone with pre-nuted Coco or plain Coco and pH water? How do you determine the correct moisture for the initial cutting to be placed in? I had them moist, but not soaked. I was thinking about watering to run off the night before transplant and set cups in clone cab at 75-80 overnight. Temps will be perfect, lighting perfect, but humidity is only about 35% so if they wilt this time it would have to be because of the humidity. So we shall see, this weekend.
