Too much weed.

Both the outdoor and the indoor harvest as in, all dried and cured or in the process of curing.

But now I have too much weed, way more I can smoke.

I give some to a guy with an illness but I don't know anyone else who wants any.
All the trim and popcorn was going to be saved, but if I can't get rid of the buds then what hope has the trim and popcorn got?
So I threw all that away.

So I have taken down the growroom and stashed everything away, no point growing any more as I already have more than I can find a use for.

Anyone else been in this position, having lots of weed and no-one to give it to?

Yup.

I'm a casual toker and I grow micro. I had too much leftover
until I started making hashish.

You can get almost 6 grams of hash for every quarter pound
of trim/popcorn.

Trouble is I moved to a new town and lost contact with the people I knew before, and don't know any one much here.

I have seen people advertising on Craigslist around here looking for weed, but it's very not legal here and I'm worried they might turn out to be leo.

I am really assessing things now, and wondering if I should even bother growing again; I have enough to last me by myself for years.

So apart for the outdoor which cost a little bit to set up and grow, which has now paid for itself, the indoor has left me with a hefty electric bill and no cash flow.

Don't sell to people on craigslist! Are you in the States? No problem sending friends a care package as long as it is smell proof. Make some hash like the above poster said. I bet you'd miss the growing part if you stopped. I've always found growing therapeutic in itself.

ive never in my life had too much herb that I didn't know what to do with. I grow, and grow for 6 ppl total (including myself).

I suggest getting some 1/2 gallon mason jars, a wide mouth vacuum sealer attachment, and a brand new el cheapo brake bleeder pump and vacuum seal the herb. its will last for years that way. I have some from a strain I killed off over a year ago. I cracked it open to grab a bud last week. still tasty and potent as ever.

I'm going to walk around the street tonight and ask people if they want weed.

Trouble is this is not a big city so there are not that many people on the street, and if you spend too much time hanging around then leo will notice you, as they have undercovers roaming the street.

So it's going to be walk to one end of the street asking any one who I think may smoke if they want weed and then walk back and then get the F*ck out of there before I draw attention to myself.
And there are a lot of tweakers here who will shop you to leo out of jalousy if they find out you have weed and they don't.

Anyway this is a high risk method and a last resort, and usually is the province of desperates and junkies, but I don't have any other option that I can see.

Anyway I want to limit my losses if shit goes down so tomorrow I'm going to take half my stuff and store at another location.
Just keep minimal in the house.

so many suffering people without access to MMJ yet there are so many commercial growers who throw away trim and such.

It's easy to find sick folks who need weed at legalization marches or on social media groups like this one or FB.

I've met a number of folks who are as sick as me or worse and who are also financially challenged that I give my excess to for free.

I pop so many seeds that I wind up with lots of buds that you couldn't pay me to smoke because their cannabinoid profiles don't agree with me.
No legal medical vending where I am so I just lay jars of nice weed on sick folks who
would be suffering without it and forced to buy on the street an overpriced 1/8th at a time.

A couple of days ago I was able to give a disabled veteran with MS 4 packed jars of bud.
Cookies, Glue, Sour, and one of my crosses. a bunch of hash and RSO too.
4K if you were even able to find gear like this on the street somewhere in a state with no dispensaries.
He got a jar of buds that won the IC cup this year and last year!

This poor guy didn't have enough money to buy a gram and now he's not going to worry about running out of weed for a long time.

If you spent enough time with somebody really sick, who only can survive when
they have a steady supply cannabis, you would make hash with those scraps and give it away.

The internet is filled with groups of dying folks looking for RSO. FB is full of them.
It's really easy to find sick people in your area. They gather online and talk about it.

the OP has a unique ability to be able to heal the sick with what you threw in the trash while you were scared.
You could literally heal the dying and diseased like Jesus Effing Christ with your waste.

It just takes a little time to learn to extract and the folks here will walk you through it.

I participate on sites where there a thousands of sick people from all over the world looking for material.
PM me with your locale and I'll find you a few.

It's really nice to be a caregiver and nobody is as glad to see me as these folks are...

Some people might want to make a bit of money for their work, maybe charge well below street prices but still charge them.
They might take the view that if they give away trim and popcorn for free, they have just lost a potential paying customer, as why would they then pay for buds?

There is also the security issue of having all that extra weight in the house, not a risk I would want to take if I get no monetary reward for it.
And the one sick person (terminally ill) I help out, not for free but at a big discount, he has enough money to buy beer so then he obviously has enough money to pay for weed. So why should I do it for free?

pain relief is much cheaper and easier to get in the form of alcohol as opposed to weed for many poor folks.

practice helping others before it's too late.
someday you won't be able to wipe your own ass and all the money in the world won't buy you kindness then.

Not everyone is in a position where they can incur costs growing weed and then give it away free.
Not everyone has a well paying day job, some people don't have a regular job and they need money to buy things they need and growing weed is the only way they can make this money.

If you are selling it at half the going rate to sick people then I think you are giving them charity, as well as looking after yourself at the same time.
It's a win win situation, you are making some money and you are saving them money.
$50 for a quarter zip sounds all right to me, especially when the going rate is about $120 the last time I heard.

I am feeling a bit disillusioned about growing now, but this may change, things might look up soon.
I did make a heap of C-Plus F3's during this run, I have about 2000 of them I guess, plus maybe about 500 Northern Lights Special x Darkstar x C-Plus seeds, so I will be able to start up again if I want to.

I have been thinking about getting some pure Afghan seeds and doing a seed run, just an open pollination for seeds, as I would like some pure Afghan seeds for possible future bud runs and maybe breeding.
I was thinking of Sensi's Afghan and also KC Brains Afghan, grow them both and see how they compare. Maybe also get some Nirvana seeds Afghan as well.

I would just do them under a 400W metal halide, don't want to incur any more high electricity costs, maybe veg them indoors for 3 weeks and then put them out in my outdoors spots during winter.
I have tried growing outdoors in winter for buds previously, but the light is not intense enough to make solid buds, they tend to be leafy and airy and wispy, but I'm thinking it should be ok just for seeds.
