Too much light?

I’m in a 20”x36” tent. Is 260w overkill? I currently use 200w
Thoughts…

Do you have the photon app to take a ppfd reading ?
And you could always dim the light fitting if your plants show signs of too much light ( serations on leaves standing up)

Its overkill to me. But sometimes youd like some overkill.

It depends very much on how much height youd wanna lose to hanging height. And essentially light spread. Its around 50w per square foot, 1200ppfd range but thats if the light is perfectly spread around the tent. Its the hotspot that will kill you.
Whats your old and whats your new light? There is likely more differences than just wattage and the 260w may have other benefits like better spread...
