Not even racy really, more of a happy feeling, heads floating gently in the clouds, very relaxing without having your body feel heavy and worn out if that makes sense.... very tasty indeed. Im looking forward to these very much.

Im surprised mine came out so indica leaning, almost all the pics I have seen are more sativa looking, These 2 are very dense and buds all the way up the stem. When I go through the IC seeds I made I am going to select toward that way. I am going to put up some pics of the cuts vegging from these moms here in a bit.

Great thread Tony.

I use FFOF also and appreciated the clarification.

I am a Trusted Cultivator of Fungi, and gnats are an old enemy.

Let the top of your soils get dry between waterings, if you can. This helps a lot.

BTW, I think that the dunks do not have the active bacterium in question, but just
the toxins that it produces that kill the bugs. This kinda bummed me out, as what
I wanted to do is to introduce, and support, growing colonies of this bug killer.

I also love the soil mix.

It would be really cool for the creator to write an analysis that describes the how and why
of each ingredient. A good example of Blood vs. Bone Meals. IIRC, one is for fast/short
N release and the other for slow/long N release.

Trivia question, no google allowed: what does AZOMITE stand for?

Take care, and enjoy those mad buds!

JD

P.S. I wanted to add a recommendation that you *not* bake your soil. I believe
that there are too many good bugs that you will kill. Gnats are just not the deadly
threat that mites are, for example. FFOF must be loaded with myco-rhyzal fungi
and beneficial bacteria.

:tiphat:Thanks for stopping in Javadog!

A to Z Of Minerals Including Trace Elements!
I read up ocd style on everything Im interested in! Still trying to source it locally I guess I am going to order some online....

The write up is a good idea for PK as I got the mix from him and he is constantly tinkering with it. My write up would be crude at best.

I agree baking the soil would probably be an extreme measure... lol

Here is some of the clones, they were taken after sexing so they are in the middle of re veg, I am going to let them come out of it before droppin em in. The big one in the back is a KQR mom in a 5 gal smart pot, the other are 3 Blue 1 girls in 3 gallon nursery pots. The KQR is about 16 inches and the Blues are about 12 inches atm. going for twice that size basically because both of my cuts are more indica and dont stretch more than double.

Here is a Blue 1 clone next to a KQR clone.

How I top...

How I top...

I top babies here.

Then I let the two new tops grow 3 nodes and do it one more time. You can see the stem already starting to swell, when I top like this it makes fat stems.

Cool action.

I actually will need to do something similar with my crop #3 mothers which are currently
seedling a week old or so. I am going to want to promote low and bushy growth for these
as they will also be used to make clones.

Do you keep those little babies under CFLs? I have a bank of four T-8s for mine.

Good luck!

JD

P.S. Frack. When I really looked at just how young those are, it occurs to me that
it may be time for me to act as well.

Nope they are under a 400w hortilux eye blue.
They manage just fine. My light is pretty high and I use milk crates to get the height I want, that way I never have to move the hood. I have been debating going with t5s to veg and getting another slightly smaller tent.

Everyone has there own topping style. Mine is probably extreme to some. But thats how I get the 4 headed monsters. If you do it young they will get past that little slow down from topping very fast and I see increased yields in small buckets.
Blue 1 is a good example of how thy come out doing it this way.

When you top em everything under will bush out, I do the first cut very young as pictured to make 2 heads. then I let 3 nodes grow so when I top em both again to make 4 heads theire is also 2 nodes of growth under that will branch out. If you want to make little fat bushes it works great.

Within a day or two new heads will be busting out and rarin to go. Ill post updates to show how it goes since we are bored waiting for chop. lol

Good news too, I called the shop to see about getting a new tent. Looking at the hydrohut silver edition 2x4, it will fit perfectly in one of my closets and have plenty of head room to veg in, this is the tent I am thinking of getting a t5 set up for to veg in, I reckon I could ventilate easy and not have to worry about heat.

And they finally got the azomite in. Whoop. Im gonna stock up for the next few runs. Gotta mix up some fresh soil, the KROM will hopefully be here soon to start testing!

Everything looks lush man. Are the new hydrohuts safe of off gassing? I didn't know they still sold those things. I really like my secret jardin tents and the prices were legit. I paid $305 for a 5'x5'x80" and it is their new and improved model.

As far as write up as suggested by a previous poster it is somehting I would not be the best for. You can read up on each ingredient to the soil mix, really it isn't that much and reap a much larger benefit then my explanations. I was always biased to hydro, RDWC or Undercurrents to be exact, and the only reason I started using this type of mix was becasue of how easy it was compared to having to build lots of hydro systems in my old electrically limited house. I got the orginal mix form blazeoneup, I found it a little light for my taste. Although, he has great success with the orginal mix he just like it to run out of gas so he can bring them home with some bottle nutes. I took the advice of the organic forum moderator and basically all your using is the LC Soilless mix #1 but with a soil blend rather then peat.

Yo Java here is some updated pics I just took of the topping action bro.

Now I let em skip/grow 2 nodes then top each head one more time to get the 4 headed monsters. Pics came out kinda cool. Depending on the strain it will encourage early branching too as you can see by the lower node coming on. imho anyways..
