What would a tonygreen thread be without drama? LOL
Well the cfl was not kind to my boys, their balls have been shriveling up and some dropping/falling off so I set up my 400w hp and threw em under there in the old room. Fuck i hope I can get some pollen before its too late, i was oping to be pollinating around now... One looked to be opening then i came home and it had fell off.. FML. lol
Someone sd somewhere you can leave em in 24 hour light after they start makin balls but idk this is my first time, unless I get some luck its not lookin good... live and learn!
I need seeds so I went and got some colloidal silver, maybe it is too late for that even idk, plus it is only 10 ppm... So Idk... Trying to figure out if i can use it or not. I hope the frickin boys bounce back!
In any event the clones are rooted so I threw them in with the boys to veg.

Tony sorry to hear about your male issue man but besides that everything is looking effortlessly perfect in here. How are you liking the soil mix thus far? From what I can see it looks like it is doing its job. I am still tinkering with it and I am thinking I need to lower a few things so I can get more color, I like em nice and pretty. I will keep you updated when I get the final tweeks in.

Yeah when my 400 is in there it is sooo much easier to cool, still havent decided if I will shut down this summer or might run the 400 once.
Hey Northern, nothing but water so far! My city water is about 7 ph and has a lot of cal and mag so this is turning out to be cake compared to my last KISS grow with maxi...
I'll post some more pics Sunday that will be day 28 or so.
I can't get over this mix so far, the boys were really blowin up, the girls late starters but coming on very strong. Keep in mind I only vegged 2-3 weeks so these got thrown in very small!
PK, my big question is on recycling the mix. For example all the boys I chopped I dusted off the rootballs and rebagged the soil. What is a good way to re-use? I was thinking add in some fresh ocean forest and re usin it to veg next time, then I could transplant before flower into fresh mix.
Yeah the gnats are a bitch, I feel like they just come with the mix. I am using the dry powdered gnatrol and it is working very well. It is pricey especially when battling them but now that it is just preventative it is not so bad. You can buy it in smaller increments on ebay, search gnatrol and look for the dry mix shit.
I swear they are in the foxfarm bro.... They got me good last time so I caught em early this time. Trick for me is let the soil dry between waterings, it seems like the plants have a burst of growth during the dry part and seem to like it. Keeping wet soil constantly is horrible and they will be everywhere.
I am hoping these mosquito dunks work, I herd good things about em. Them glue traps should handle this little batch since I caught em early.

Ever try those mosquito dunks? Supposed to kill the larvae, it is a bacteria that is released from the crumbles every time you water.

Same thing happened to my male when I moved him to the cfl isolation booth. Shriveled, got stripes and fell off. Aannnd... I broke off his tops to fit him in the space - didnt even think about just budding the clones... duh!
It came back full force after a week. And now...
... Im a sperm depository... err.... no... stop thinking that!

Yeha I have used dunks, I just switched out from them to the gnatrol. Gnatrol is the same shit just in a more concentrated form. The powder is where its at. Dunks and stickys will get em though.
