Hella cool talkin @ya, man! I wanted to send ya link to a box. It's in "Treating Yourself" magazine. I know I gots a copy, but I can't fookin find it!!! Anyways, you should be able to find it. There's a good ad for a box. Can't remember the site to link you to but they go on a rampage about how their materials are lab tested for offgassing and all the common troubles, and provide actual data on it for you to check out. Definitely wasn't HydroHut! I wanna say homebox, but I'm guessing...pick up the mag, I know the ad is in there!

oh yeah check out this half mutant ass girl,the main stalk is like a rectangle instead of round all the way up,idk how none of my plants ever been like this and its a clone for sure of the bubbleberry,the rest of the stalks are all normal cept the main.check it out...

I know I'm a little late on the reply, but that stem got its back broken or crushed ONLY on the inside with a little pressure, when that happens, the plant just seems to grow a second internal stem, and then around the same time the first back fixes it self. thats why you have two sets of leafs. depending on how that plant grows, you'll see a "two headed bud" around harvest time because the stems will start to separate with time, albit slowly, and will always be connected.

I'm psyched that you're considering ebb and flow bro! You're absolutely right about setting it and forgetting it. Once it's dialed in and you feel comfortable with the mixing of the nutrients and flow cycle.....you can leave for periods of time and just chill completely. If you're manually watering right now, you're gonna be blown away by the simplicity of the system. Just understand that the plants have no buffer to protect them from wild swings in pH or nutrients....they're more susceptible to quick and immediate damage from the wrong environmentals. So it's always best to put less than you think you need when experimenting. I also wouldn't completely abandon your current setup until you get accustomed to the new hydroponics. This way you can get your toe in the water before you jump in. I transitioned away from soil and used hydro for flowering. For a period of time, I still kept mother plants in soil because it was good to keep plants in for longer periods. Eventually I got away from the soil completely. Now I only use coco to start beans, so that's as close as I get to soil indoors. Of course anything I do outdoors (which hasn't been for awhile) is in soil.

Thats what I switched too as well bro...and lemme tell ya-- I likes it...I likes it a lot! accessendx is right about the simplicity of it all...Just gotta be careful and not get too lazy

Only thing is...im not a big fan of those lil (controller) buckets with lil float valves and timers, and switches...They should rename it the -disaster causeing-doomed-to-fail and cause-a-catastrophic-flood bucket..

If you are going to run one of those I highly suggest you get a kiddie swimmin pool or something as a backup to keep controller bucket malfunctions from REALLY screwing you over...Floods should only happen in your system...not your whole grow

Or if you are like me and have a semi handy bone in your body you can check over the DIY Ebb and Flow buckets tutorial I have in my sig and make a system that doesn't even have a controller bucket! Guaranteed never to fail...cause it doesn't exist! And you can expand it to however many buckets you want as well...
WAAY cheaper too

I mean for ya to put the whole grow/buckets inside a kiddie pool! Because I have seen those things flood over more than once...
I can point you to a thread where a guys system flooded his room with 30 gallons, and he brought it back to have it "serviced" and it did the exact same thing the next day...

I made my setup without ever seeing it...Ya need more pics on how to set it up? ..or how it works??? a movie of it flooding and draining??..I REALLY want my tutorial to be simple enough that it clicks even with beginners...I was thinking about adding some building material sources to make it even simpler...

I have been thinking about building a 9 bucket system to go under a 600w as my next project...as soon as I can find the room

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you got with this stuff.
