I would feed them plenty of water those days prior to leaving. Maybe use less lights and place them a little further away to keep them from drying out! Good Luck!

well guys, i got some good news but mostly bad news.

first the bad news. came home last night to find this:

and the other 2 were males :badday: :badday: :badday:

now for the good news:

a rooted clone! that many roots in only a week :yoinks: the other clone is showing signs of rooting soon. they are in there temp box with a 23w cfl.

any ideas on gettin that lady back to health other than feeding her? i took 1 bulb out but anything else? there arent any dead dried out branches or anthing so thats good atleast.

for some reason i cant see your post scrappy. it says you replied but its not here! not sure why, you arent on my ignore list or anything.

also, the wilted plant is dried out now and i dont think i can save her :badday: ill be putting the clones in there to veg out and take cuttings again before flowering. lost over a month but atleast i have backups!

damn no love huh? the clones are still looking good. i have the rooted clone in some coco coir and still trying to figure this stuff out. been readin a lot in that forum and coco seems like some cool stuff. may figure up a small e&f using coco in pots. still waitin on the other to root but it still looks healthy so im optimistic still. anyways, ill get some pics for you guys tomorrow.

damn tngreen sorry to hear about ur plant. luckly you got clones. i forgot to turn my fans on one day when i got home that night my babies were allll messed up. this may be big for a cab grow but if you got the space the work wonders.

85w CFL's called fluorex by lights of america. they output equal to 750w and about 8000 constant lumens.

im growing in a small cabinet i have, 20 day veg from clone and my Master Kush grew 2 feet.

What kind of nuets are you using if any?

Cool water and ambient temps somtimes can bring plants back from looking like that, but thats pretty bad wilting.

thanks for stoppin by vinivici and deft! vinivici, have never seen those lights before around here. i got the biggest i could find, the 42 watters. whered you find them? deft, seems i was a day or two late gettin to em to save them. she dried out the next day to the point of no return. its ok though, im past that and on to caring for the clones. speaking of the clones, heres some pics of the rooted one in 100% Coco being fed PBP, LK, and cal-mag:

as you can see, they are not as dark as they should be. any suggestions? i just added the LK to the mix today so that might help some. also, the stems have a lot of purple to them. cant say ive seen this, is it bad or just possibly a purple pheno? guess ill have to wait and see!

thoughts, tips, comments welcome! later!

TnGreen, i got the lights at home depot, for some reason they only have the 65w online, but when i went to home depot they had 85w and 100w but the 100w only had bulbs.

im really curious to see if the 100w would work with my 85w ballast. yes these lights require a ballast. I dunno why but they do =/

fyi the 100w is supposed to give off equal to 1000w and 10,000 lumens.

what are your night cycle temps?

there was another thread somewhere, if i had a link i would post it dealing with purpling stems and it was decided that lower night temps contributed to purpling stems to an extent, not much but some

id say that the 85w would only work on a 85 w ballast. would u use a 400 w hps with a 600 w hps ballast? no. itd fry it.

thanks vinivici, ill keep a look out next time i go to the depot.

rkrone, thats what i was thinkin it was since my night temps can get down to just under 70*F. thought that would happen more towards the end once in flowering as it did in my first grow. definately wouldnt mind some purple buds though!

my other clone still has not rooted but still looks very healthy. it had a thicker stem so maybe i waited to long to take a cut? idk, we'll see i guess. thanks for stoppin by all!

hindu killer, definately not leaving them alone for a week this time! that was a mistake without sometype of rez system. im planning a mini-drip coco setup to be able to leave them alone longer.

 dc105! thanks for stoppin by. doin my best keepin these genetics alive and well. my clone is flourishin nicely in the coco and is regaining its dark green color. :woohoo: as usual, i must drool over ur pics :yummy: lookin forward to whats next!

sorry for the lack of updates all, been a little busy. anyways, the 2 girls are lookin good. the bigger clone will hopefully be ready to be cloned and flipped in about 10 days. the smaller im just going to flip with the other and just let her go. should have a decent amount of roots by then. both have been in their final homes (6L rubbermaids) for about 6 days now. they are lovin this coco as am I! will get some pics tomorrow during their feeding. later!
